Mortal Kombat Hype thread!!..56k Finish him!!! Hype met GS 8.5

Getting both Tournament Edition and Kollector's Edition... and maybe a standard copy as well.

Why? I'm going to pre-order TE and KE each, but those won't reach my house til around the street date. I'm going to buy the standard copy in advance, so I can practice and have one-on-one time with the storymode.

I am very curious to see how Stryker looks and plays. All I can remember is that guy who played him in MK3 looked like an out of shape bike cop.

From what I hear its made with just MK in mind not other fighters.

That xray vid that ign released that had the devs talking about the xray move shows him in bits of gameplay. Just really fast so you gatta pause and try to get a look.

I also think hes going to have a swat outfit. If what the x ray vids show are true.

This Game is going to be amazing i also pre-oder the Kollector's Edition for PS3 ...i just hope people don't over use Kratos on every multiplayer match cause will get annoying :?

Also I was thinking about how Kratos fits so well and I personally dont think MS has a character that does, and it made me laugh that IMO Dark Link would fit in better than any MS character. No jabs here just found it funny cause its Nintendo :P.

Both movies will have the dlc(so if you purchase both movies you'll end up two dlc skins) as for the price $19.99

The thing I loved about Deadly Alliance was all the unlockables! That was so much fun IMO. Cooking with scropion...what a classic :P.

Pretty much. Hell they even re use footage from the same movie. Example whem baraka falls into the fire they re use the footage of rain falling into the fire. They literaly turn baraka into a purple ninja.

I have high hopes for this game. MK4 was my last MK. I really lost interest in the series around then. Here's hoping that they can surpass all of the recent MKs.

Looks great, I'll probably get this to go along with MVC. Only thing I hate about MK right now is having to press a button to block lol.

I can't wait for this game! I'm sure it will get around an 8.5 here, but will be AAA for me personally. I have friends on both PS3 and 360 and have already pre-ordered on both.

The new MK is one of my most anticipated titles, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm predicting solid AA here, but it'll be AAA for me personally.

I would probably pick GS's bonus (Scorpion), but I dont like GS, so Amazon (best retailer out of them) will be my choice. I was never a fan of Sub-Zero :P. Although his ice sword in these vids is awesome when he rips it off in their chest.

Its a short cartoonflick that came out on vhs. That had computer animation fights that were entertaining to watch. Fast forward to 8 42 to see what I mean. I remember seeing this alot as a kid mainly the computer animation fights.
