Yeah, by those comparisons it is very noticeable. Had I not already been playing the game on a PS3 I would be bummed to see that.

Hmm 360 has sharper stages but besides that its the usual difference. 360 renders darker due to it being an ATI GPU, and PS3 renders lighter due to Nvidia GPU.

got the midnight launch...game is fun as hell...however i entered the redeem code for the costume and fatality, the costume works, but not the fatality, it doesnt seem to be unloced, i cannot find out how to do it or where to see it. any ideas?

I can't even believe how good this game is... And I've HATED every single mortal kombat other than the first 2...

My only problem is like, those mini fatalities are a bit too brutal... because I want all that to be saved for the fatalities you know?... If I already see all this blood it takes away from how cool they are...

Scorpion and Sub-Zero most likely. Definitely have to play it first with all the characters to decide. Kratos I'll leave for a friend to grab and will only occasionally play him. Smoke and Rain are definitely interesting though.

I had a list of mains, but as soon as I had access to the full game all of that changed. For the first time ever in a fighting game I enjoy playing as each and every character. At first I was all about Scorp and Sub, then it was Noob and Smoke, then Kabal, Raiden and as of now its Kitana, but that will probably change by tomorrow lol.

I swear my PS3 never looks washed out like that. It usually looks more saturated than my 360 games.

But all in all the comparison looks pretty even. The 360 images look darker and in the armory level the 360 version looks like it has more bump to the textures.

I like stryker because he's a BA cop! Man his x-ray is pretty awesome as well.. best I've seen so far at least :P.

Well Raiden should be right up your alley then, but I also think you would like Smoke. He has teleports both forward and backwards, a double punch teleport that can be done on the ground or in the air, a smoke bomb projectile that pulls enemies through the ground and then leaves them wide open in the air and the ability to go fully invisible if you're willing to spend an ex bar. I believe hes got some other cool special moves, but I cant remember them off the top of my head.

My main...well. I am a big Scorpion fan, but I had a lot more fun with Subzero for the first time ever. I did well with both in the demo, but I prefer the combos and moves Subzero does. I've been watching live streams and it seems that EVERYONE who picked Noob Saibot, honestly lose every time or barely win. I don't know if it's them or Noob Saibot is a difficult character with a different style. Anyway, my mains will be Subzero/Scorpion/Noob/Cyrax.percech

Noob is like Sub in that hes tough to string combos together with at first. He has an insane arsenal of special moves though, plus he can hit you with a block disabling move. It just takes time to put it all together is all.

I never liked Stryker in the previous games, but he is sick in this one. I really cant believe how great of a job they did with all the characters.

Yeah, you should be good. Hes about the same difficulty to learn. I've noticed their is a clear distinction in this game between the pick up and play characters vs. the ones that take time. Anybody should be able to pick up characters like Scorpion, Johny Cage, or Kitana from the get go. Characters like Sub, Noob and Sektor take a little more patience, but it feels more rewarding in the end.
