Love the game so far. Had a hard time putting it down last night, now I'm hurting here at work, lol. Can't wait to go home and get back online. I've mainly used Scorpion, but I love Cyrax and Noob also.
Like I said in my previous post on this thread a while back, as long as the game gets an 8.0 and higher I'm happy with it and who cares if IGN gave it an 8. Just enjoy it and besides Gametrailers gave it a 9.4 and 1up gave it an A- so move on and enjoy Mortal Kombat.

Dude, this is SW. While I agree that it is just a review, people still have the right to give an opinion on it.

Yeah buddy I know it's System Wars but I'm talking about the review here and what does the Mortal Kombat review have to do with system wars since this isn't about PS3 vs PC vs Xbox 360 vs Wii?:P And I'm giving out my opinion here, people who are complaining about IGN's review can still complain, I'm not going to force them to keep their mouth shut but like I said just enjoy the game and stop worrying of what IGN thinks and be happy :lol:

People aren't really complaining about the score, but the contents of the review itself. It really is a poorly written review.

I know it's a bad review but that's IGN for you. They can have good reviews and then they have bad reviews that don't make any sense at all.
The game is pretty much what I hoped for. Absolutely loving it, though. I'm hooked on Kano and Kabal right now, but I'll be trying out other people to see who fits me best before I go headhunting online.
Man, i really want the game, but i don't know if i can affort it right now, i do have the money, but i'm going to be pretty tight the next couple of months (birthdays, and other things), the next days will be crusial, if this week i don't buy it out of some crazy impulse, i'm not going to get it until much later, so let's see.

Call me crazy, but i think this guys fits a lot more than Kratos, i mean, they shouldn't have anything to do with the story obviusly, just good characters for VS and Online.

Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Scorpion, Stryker, Kabal. I also like Smoke, Ermac, Kitana, Johnny Cage and Liu Kang. I specifically dislike Raiden and actually don't mind the rest.
Tell you what - Noob Saibot is THE best character against the bosses and noob (pun intended) human players :P He is very tricky, tactical, has an array of surprising moves, strong x-ray and combos and some of his special moves are very fast.
game is great fun...but online lags like nobodies buiness....this is why i do not support the online pass....how can they justify this. if i rented the game or ought it used and payed for the online pass i would be furious. this game should be flawless online no questions asked. why am i able to play bad company with no lag at all but a game with two people fighting each other lags like crazy? games that have this online pass need to be perfect in this repsect. while i am glad i got the game, this is commpletley inexcusable. and plus......where is kano's lazer move???????!?!?!?!? how could they forget that..i MEAN COME ON!!!!
Gotta wait till Thurs to get my copy, good thing I already have some games to keep busy till then, but 2 days might as well be 2 years lol.
And GS sure is taking their sweet time with the review....

Yea man i im getting my wensday and im dieing to play the dam thing. Also I wouldint mind freddy and jason dlc. I would love to play as jason in this fighting system much more interesting then kratos imo. Also since they are not part of the universe its ok.

I love that even unlocking things seems like an achievement in itself and Krypt with Nekropolis are full of small details.
As far as fighting games are concerned, the amount of stuff in here is just mind-blowing, there's like literally almost a thousand of things at the Krypt to unlock, not to mention the Challenge Tower with 300 quests and various game modes.
