Mortal Kombat Hype thread!!..56k Finish him!!! Hype met GS 8.5

I went to hell and came back alive.:P I've finally beaten challenge 251, after countless tries. Next up i came across challenges 269 and 275, and i couldn't believe what i had ahead of me. I was ready to give in and bypass a challenge for the first time, even before trying them. Unbelievable... but i guess i wasn't ready to give up and got to work. After some sweat and tears i beat them and i'm currently on challenge 291.:D Not too long until i beat this tower, something i thought i would never do. So, are you guys playing the challenge tower or not? What challenge are you currently on and have any of you guys beaten challenge 300 yet?lusitanogamer

Not even close. I'm on 67 but I plan to climb up a bit since I'm off today.

How long is the Story mode? I'm only like on Chapter 7.

There are 16 chapters I believe. So the story mode is 12-15 hours. I find it interesting that it is longer than a FPS game lol.

Okay guys, Im stumped with something. Ive downloaded my classic costume for Scorpion, says I have it in my HDD, but how come it wont show up in MK? and I also unlocked his Alt costume concept in the krypt, why cant I choose it? (Ive already gone into Nekropolis and it said I unlocked it)

Finished Story mode the other day and I wish it would have lasted longer than 16 chapters but that's because the story was really well done and I couldn't get enough. And I am on challenge 87 in the tower. So much content! this is how fighting games should be done! the offline/SP content in just as important as MP and 2P.

[spoiler] Here's hoping for MK10 Scorpion and Nob realise they were just pwns manipulated by Quan Chi, that freak needs to get what he deserves in MK10 by Noob and Scorpion. lol. But I don't think he was the main player as I heard many say, I mean he was under orders by Shinnok and it's not like Quan Chi manipulated Shao Khan. It's just that his power hunger was his downfall. Plus I hated seeing so many characters die in the story, I know they will still be there as playable characters for the next MK but will they be in the story? :( [/spoiler]

im thinking of mastering cyber sub and kitana. or should i stick to human subby? HitomiChan

Teleport + Uppercut. Time it properly because he can't turn while attacking. You'll see what I mean if you practice it. Also use his back + forward + X/A move or whatever it is that makes him fly across the room in case you get a little to close to the wall. Mofo loves to juggle you.

anyone els like the look of cyrax and sektor more as humans then robots or is that just me. I also like the fact the costume change is some cheap pallat swap with the human cyrax having saws coming out his chest for no reason.

haha i know im so glad, well in the end i would say all thanks to my friends, if it wasnt for them telling me how i need to get this game almost 3 hours everyday i wouldnt have got it as i rarly get fighting games :P.. and was surprised how Portal 2 went down this low in price already, the ps3 version was only $44, next up in my list is portal 2!

The last Shao Khan has f***** me like no other. There's a difference between being hard and just being plain f****** unfair. How does this get put in the game? The fact that he can still attack you while you hit him is bull****. **** this game.

I don't understand how this game got a 8.5 but SF4 got a 9.. When MK has far more content, more options, and far more multiplayer features.. sSubZerOo

I just dont get how it didint get higher then MVC3. It has way more content then that hollow game and it feels much more balanced.
