what was the criticism exactly? that over time batteries loose their charge? or that in fact there is a chance that they might just stop working altogether? 

 I reacted like anyone who knew you can change the internal batteries of the controller would, I'm not accusing him of lying thats your inference not mine i was just making light of that fact. keep reaching though..

anyway aside from that annoying sig,   the xbox controller offers wifi-direct which is superior to Blutooth, can output dolby digital 5.1 surround sound via 3.5mm thanks to wifi direct, and Shape.    I dont think the DS4 can do that due to the bandwidth limitation of blutooth.   The controller is far superior to anything you have ever experienced.   # dealwithit

They should have used the money toward Xbone instead :lol: what a waste.

...and the fact that they used that amount toward a controller design is really stupid, it looks so basic.

My six assis is 7 years old and still working,i bough 4 diferent pairs of rechargeable batteries for my 360 controler since 2005,so yeah my PS3 controller has save me allot.

I have a couple of dismantled ones in my closet, which I tinkered with because they kicked the bucket. I also have one where the PS button is forever depressed, due to it being busted.
