N64 vs PSOne, which was the console of YOUR choice?

N64 is my favourite console of all time and most likely will remain so.

Looking at the results, I can see Cows aren't the Majority at all, hmmm...

Both were great machines, but the N64's Complete and utter LACK of STREETFIGHTER and JRPG's forced me to buy a PSOne, so I blame Nintendo for that.

I enjoyed the N64 a lot more than my PS1. I tried to plug in the N64 the other day but its somehow died :cry:

PS1 by far, the N64 did have a handful of classics, but the PS1 had so many amazing RPGs as well as a few other genres (i.e fighters), that it had quantity and quality in the end.

The PS1 actually had a stronger library with more AAA and AA games (much more), but the N64 had a very good library for a 2nd place console (It did sell more than Saturn world wide didn't it?)

N64 by far. Some of Nintendo's biggest franchises really shined on the console.

AT THE TIME N64 HAD THE BEST RACING GAME AND FIGHTING GAME OF ALL TIME AT THE TIME, MARIO KART, KILLER INSTINCT, The better version of ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT because of no load times and better graphics

SO ITS N64 FOR ME

i hated Ultimate Mortal Kombat on Playstation 1, because everytime you morphed with Shao Khan there was a 1 second load time in the middle of the match

tekken wasnt even established until the end of ps1's life cycle with tekken 3

PS1 so many amazing titles incuding the Spyro and Crash trilogy,Metal Gear Solid,Resident Evil ,Final Fantasy and Tekken.

I actually had a 3DO first then got a PS. Never owned a N64 but a friend of mine had one and we played Golden eye MP all the time.

N64 had the better games, but not the casual appeal.
