.5 worth of new content!!! That's all anyone will see on system wars.
The demo for this game didn't really grab me so I'm not going to buy it no matter how awesome titaxis is.
Great score. Not sure if im getting it since i lready have the 360 version..Does it still have lag? Maybe after a price drop.
"Dumb use of Sixaxis functionality. "
Guess Gamespot dont like boobies.
The Bad:
Dumb use of Sixaxis functionality.
Well of course, Kevin V made the review :P
Seriously, it looks good, but i didn't like the demo that much, besides i have in mind other games like Batman, and judging with reviews and demos, i'll take Batman AA over NGZ2 any day, maybe i'll get this one later with a price drop.
Haha they listed the Siaxis functionality as a con. :Ptagyhag
People here complain that motion control is a cheap gimmick, but using the Sixaxis to jiggle the breasts of the female characters takes the cake for most shameful gimmick.
So much more content and only .5 better? MooSergeAndKidIt also came out over a year later than NG2.
Edit: has the review been taken down? When I click "read the review" it just takes me to the user reviews section.
[QUOTE="siLVURcross"]Gonna pick this up for sure. Loved the demo, and the funny usage of the SIXAXIS.TecmoGirl
That SIXAXIS feature wasn't in the demo was it? ...I forgot to pay attention to Ayane's breast when I played. :P
It was. Took me awhile to figure out how to make it work.[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]
.5 worth $40 more? You decide!
Good score, though.

Well, if you don't own a 360 and want to play Ninja Gaiden it is...
Well, I was speaking specifically for those of us who own both systems.
Seems like a bad double dip, especially at $60.

Yeah. I mean... Why? Why does it exist?

I believe your controller has to be still for a moment and then you can shake it. That or just wildly move it around :? Whatever you prefer. This remix is definitely worth it for me as i'm a grand NG fan but don't own the 360. Either way I would've still gotten this version & online co-op should be a blast with friends on PSN. Especially for such a good game..5 worth $40 more? You decide!
Good score, though.

The boob thing is good for a giggle, but when Momiji is hugging a young boy and you can bounce her boobs up and down on his head, surely there's something wrong there. Maybe it's a dream come true for the kid, but my guess is that shaking boobies reduce the impact of such a scene in a game that takes itself relatively seriously. Maybe in the underappreciated and absolutely shameless Ninja Blade, but it seems weird here.
Of course, this IS Team Ninja. I often wondered if they have a breast development team there. I will say this: It's a better use than Ninja Gaiden Sigma's, which made you shake the controller to power up Ninpo.
I wonder if they hire models to test real-life boob physics? Just a random thought. Or what if they used the same functionality to jiggle Ryu's junk? The possibilities are endless.
[QUOTE="Kevin VanOrd"]The camera can be a pain Salt_The_FriesStill not fixed the most important thing... No it didn't. The camera in NG games is perfect. It is supposed to be a pain because you're a ninja in the heat of the battle so you're supposed to get confused from time to time. Do you think Team Ninja can't do the camera like other hack n' slash games? of course they can but that's not what NG is about. GS is just too noob and casual for that. The most important thing that they should have fixed and that actually needs fixing is the screen tearing.
Well thank you good sir, I think you just confirmed my purchase indefinitely. I think I'll get a good laugh out of that.but when Momiji is hugging a young boy and you can bounce her boobs up and down on his head.

The most important thing that they should have fixed and that actually needs fixing is the screen tearing. I'm a very experienced Ninja Gaiden player, far far from a noob, but I am capable of calling something out for what it is. "You're supposed to get confused from time to time" is silly, and a frequent rallying cry from Ninja Gaiden II apologists when the flaw gets called out--as it often does. When a game withholds important tools, that's a flaw, not a feature. Please note that I reviewed Ninja Gaiden Sigma--a game that handles the camera far better (as did Ninja Gaiden Black). Bad camera is bad camera. Team Ninja has done better; for some reason, they chose not to, that's all. It is what it is--no reason for the usual cries of "casual!" and "noob!"
Haha they listed the Sixaxis functionality as a con. :P Expected score though, same game, improved visuals, and more content.

TBH, I sold my 360 copy of NGII just for the sixaxis feature and I find that a dumb reason to be a con....

I say its the best feature in the game ;)
is it a PS3 exclusive?!? it has only on PS logo

I don't care what the box say, it's still the same as NGII on the 360 with extra spice to it.

For me, anything that breaks immersion or seems out of place is a con. Ninja Gaiden is hardly known for grand storytelling, but it generally takes itself very seriously. Ryu wouldn't be caught dead in the outfits Ninja Blade's Ken wears, and he'd rather poke himself in the eye than endure a 3-minute quicktime event. It just doesn't belong--it's just another one of TN's "hey look--BIG BOOBIES" things, done at the expense of the game's immersion. If Momiji is saving the children from a fiend attack, shaking her boobs around doesn't add to the scene--it makes it a joke. If that's ok with you, that's cool with me!Please Log In to post.
