[QUOTE="Vlaphor"]As someone who is a Ninja Gaiden fanatic, I'd have to disagree with the review. I haven't beaten the game yet, but what I have played feels like a step down from the 360 version. It has a good amount of new content, but they made too many changes to the underlying gameplay (many of which are for the worse, such as the overpowered new weapon, unlimited secondary ammo, and the new way that weapon upgrades are handled) and some of the new content is pretty bad (Momiji's level sucked hard, and she isn't that much fun to play as) for me to consider this a better version than the 360 version.
Since you can easily get the 360 version for $20 these days, get that one instead. It has better gameplay, a better camera, and actual difficulty.

yeah but the 360 version, also has inferior graphics, less content, no online, bugs/glitches/frame rate/slow down, cheap difficulty, off screen projectile spam and many more. Maybe a little worse in the graphical department, but it also has more stuff on screen than the PS3 version and more is going on at the same time as well. Less content somewhat, but a few of the additions in Sigma 2 really suck (new weapon is bad, Momiji's level is bad, new weapon upgrade system is terrible, skulls are now near useless to collect). No online is true, but Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360 shines far better in single player than on PS3, and that's what is important to a Ninja Gaiden game. The only bug I recall is the acid worm glitch, and that was fixed by a patch. As for slow down, the only real slow down in Ninja Gaiden 2 was the staircase that had over a dozen enemies on screen at once. That was awesome, slicing through that many enemies as the game slowed down, giving you a better view of all the gore and chaos. Cheap difficulty isn't true, you just suck at the game, and only one level has off-screen weapon spam. The Russian level with the tanks and mechs, and good camera maintence negates that.
