For me, anything that breaks immersion or seems out of place is a con. Ninja Gaiden is hardly known for grand storytelling, but it generally takes itself very seriously. Ryu wouldn't be caught dead in the outfits Ninja Blade's Ken wears, and he'd rather poke himself in the eye than endure a 3-minute quicktime event. It just doesn't belong--it's just another one of TN's "hey look--BIG BOOBIES" things, done at the expense of the game's immersion. If Momiji is saving the children from a fiend attack, shaking her boobs around doesn't add to the scene--it makes it a joke. If that's ok with you, that's cool with me! Kevin-V

Superior version confirmed, I wasn't expecting it to get get AAA but it's definitely a solid AA title and how NG2 should have been.Swift_Boss_A

The camera still reeks, so that's disappointing. That should've been the first thing addressed, not some extra stuff and jiggly boobies.

TBH, I sold my 360 copy of NGII just for the sixaxis feature and I find that a dumb reason to be a con....

I expected this game to be better than the 360 version due to my frustrations of the camera and those annoying small halls which makes it hard for Ryu to swing his sword around. The only thing that makes Sigma II better than the 360 II is the extra features. I must admit that I may have made a wrong decision selling my 360 copy.

Sounds about right. It's the same game with a few playable characters and co-op right? It stands to reason that it should score a little higher.

Better graphics, more fluid gameplay, less engine problems, more content, but with less gore and a lower difficulty (not that NGS2 will have any shortage of that; just the original was ridiculous). I'd definitely buy it had I missed out.

It's a shame the camera still sucks a big one. I'm replaying NG2 on the 360 and it's painful to have to put up with it during a heated fight.

It really is no big deal that Kevin listed it as a con, because as he stated before, it simply just doesn't fit into some of the more serious scenes in the game.

If the NG2 on 360 came out at the same time as this I'm sure this would be a 9.0 and not an 8.5 its just an old news game now and that has to factor into the score.

You should tell your colleagues that they shouldn't take us so seriously, afterall, we are just fanboys! :P No seriously, I know many people talk a lot of crap in forums and on the internet in general but, in the end, what we really care about is having fun with games (at least I hope so). I come here and talk crap as much as the next guy but in the end is all to exploit the fun out of the system wars! Reviews and all that stuff is just part of the fun. If you and I and a filthy lemming (;)) enjoy games then I'm sure we can get along pretty well, that means we have more in common than 90% of the people I know. Thanks for your hard work. Yeah I loved the "shogun assassin" style geyser blood flow when dismembering in the original.

Yeah that could be true, but im just a worst case scenario kind of individual. You could be right, and hopefully are cause having two great developers just means more awesome games.

if the 360 and ps3 versions came out simultaniously,don't you think they'd have the exact same features,and both score 9.0?..don't be a fanboy..

i'm not bashing on sigma 2,i'm merely just pointing out how funny it was cows fpr the longest time were praising how this game was gonna pulverize the original,yet as it turns out,with the exception of a sprinkle of content and upgraded graphics,they're both practically identical.

NG is a franchise 8-9 rated games. They are doing the same thing over and over again. However, Halos are 9+ games. To GS, Shooters are better than fighters.

Got Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360 when it was $20. No way i'll be picking this up till it's around $30-$40. Though I must say the coop is enticing.
