the new halo 3 trailer was cool!

when the brute kicked that officer? amazing animation!

and from the trailer you can also see that you can change with some weapons to 2nd/3rd person view! and they also showed you fight that big 4 legged laser machine (star wars much?) from halo 2 only now it's in purple! cool!

Yeah I agree, I think it's always much more effective actually showing a chunk of gameplay instead of a trailer full of mixed scenes. Joystiq said that the Halo 3 demo wasn't far off Crysis graphics (their words).

so many people dont realize how huge halo 3 levels actually are. in that first singleplayer screenshot that had MC with a mountain in the background, they said you could go to the mountain!!!!!! also in multiplayer some guy took a banshee on valhalla and flew as high as he could, guess what. i cant wait to finish the fight, this game will truly be superb!

the graphics are awsome, and from the BETA gameplay looks to be really well done.

the one thing i am a bit worried about is the amount of stuff in it, like grnades, weapons etc. it seems like a small selection, i was hoping for a lil more equipement, maybe one or two more guns from what they have shown, and a couple more new vehicles...

This is true. The only thing I saw that I didnt like were some of the animations. Especially after seeing that CoD4 footage...

The enviroments look huge in this game.I hope they are like halo 1s.

Just for the record, I think Halo 3 is shaping up very nicely. I like the colour palette... a bright, colourful world and the graphics are very crisp. And if you check a few of the shots, the forests are fairly dense and apparently the sunlight through the trees is supposed to look amazing.

I'm not even really a Halo fan (just started playing through Halo yesterday) but this game has caught my interest...

i think any halo fan would of prefferred a lil played out misson compared to the trailer, it would of showed us a bit more, but it seems bungie still has some secrets it wants to keep...

also, does anyone know if this footage is a mix of old and new, cause the scene in one of the buildings with the shotgun against a squad of brutes looks like the vidoc on how they made them.
