The Buddy system is revolitionary IMO, its intense in the heat of battle using the voice commands to ask for things or thank them, both needing to apply to an dual actioin is pure awesome, the way you grab and give items is so well done, IMO. What capcom did to the 3rd person perspective/camera genre (revolutionized it) have now done it again with the co-op system, IMO. This has been stated by a review too. EyezonmiiMaybe you are right, but still it feels like it don't work with the game. I don't like it, revolutionary or not.

The demo is fun. I like sheva. I just wish the guns would have a little more "oomph". They sound weak.JunkTrapi love the animations, different each time...shoot them mid air when they are about to jump another platform...upper cutting them through a wooden door is priceless. Or when you kick them against a wall and see them react according to the wall. even better when one is running full on and you clip a single bullet to his head and he just slips....funny as. the shotgun is powerful enough. Don't see nothing wrong with the OOMMPH of the weapons.

Eyezonmiium there COOP is standard fair to be quite honest...its just a good mix of stuff seen in Gears of War, Army of Two, Left 4 Dead, and a bunch of other coops I wouldn't say it is revolutionary..hell the OTS wasn't revolutionary either for RE 4...it was done before.. RE 4 just did it right(same with Gears of War with the cover system). RE 4 is more of an influential game than a revolutionary game, but that is my opinion.
I actually like being Sheva on co-op games.NocturnalNoctisshe's good, i still want to do a hurricarana...but you need a good human partner to time the right shots to pull off the required combo's....chris also has a SUPER punch and a backhand hit. Another thing i love about the game, each shot to a particular body part can produce a different melee attack, mainly with the combo melee's done with a partner....like this: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=k36Dh3_xQOA
The game looks fantastic but the controls needs major upgrade, it was way too hard to get used to it, all of the controls are meh.

has anyone noticed this, on gametrailers RE5 is the most popular game, it has 20,531,082 downloads, the closest game that comes to next to it is KZ2 which only has 13,824,380 downloads and that after the review was up, Re5 is also the most tracted game on their as well
I wouldn't be surprised if this game was the best selling game for 2009

At the moment everything is about RE5 and Killzone 2,so the numbers don't really surprise me.has anyone noticed this, on gametrailers RE5 is the most popular game, it has 20,531,082 downloads, the closest game that comes to next to it is KZ2 which only has 13,824,380 downloads and that after the review was up, Re5 is also the most tracted game on their as well

so what will happen if both versions get 10/10 for graphicsGTR_FXNothing RE5 isn't a game where people are gonna compare which system has the better graphics only fanboys will. Hardcore fans will enjoy the game either was graphics 10/10 or 8/10 were playing for the story and the gameplay that made the series fun and great to play
[QUOTE="McdonaIdsGuy"]360 version looked better in all those comparisons, better textures, sharper character models, better shadows, better framerate better effects on screen etc.blitzcloudSorry to burst your bubble, but the ps3 build on that comparison isn't the demo build :'C
its really funny all this nit-picking and analising shots to claim some sort of ownage on which version may look better... in motion i bet they will look practically identical.. i am more concerned about the likes screen-tearing & framerate drops, rather than comparing shots which dont truly represent the game..

[QUOTE="Malta_1980"]theres hardly any framerate drops or screen tearing...atleast in the 360 version There isn't screen tearing in the PS3 version if you've played it, but you probably haven't seeing all your hate against the PS3, Minor framerate drops and a little contrast difference. One of those was the problem with DMC 4 on Ps3 and it wasn't the frame rate dropsits really funny all this nit-picking and analising shots to claim some sort of ownage on which version may look better... in motion i bet they will look practically identical.. i am more concerned about the likes screen-tearing & framerate drops, rather than comparing shots which dont truly represent the game..

I thought the voice acting on the village cheif (guy with the megaphone) was really good, it was really convincing despite not being able to understand himGTR_FXThey'll probably subtitle the game so we know what their talking about. But if they don't it sorta ramps up the tension if you think about it.

I'm down for that. :) I've only played co-op with 2 people so far, and it's a complete blast.

Ya i need somebody who is a little more level headed I was playing someone who was trying to get me to get him upto speed on 13 years of resident evil[QUOTE="IronBass"][QUOTE="Eyezonmii"]The Buddy system is revolitionary IMO, its intense in the heat of battle using the voice commands to ask for things or thank them, both needing to apply to an dual actioin is pure awesome, the way you grab and give items is so well done, IMO. EyezonmiiMaybe you are right, but still it feels like it don't work with the game. I don't like it, revolutionary or not. what exactly don't you feel works well? A couple of things, actually (don't forget that this is strictly imo, and based on my experience on the demo, so it could -and probably will- difer from yours-): - Sometimes, Shiva is too efficient. One of y favorites aspect of RE4 was the fact that I could choose and expperiment how to kill an enemy. Now, most of the times, it is simple a rain of bullets (coming from her). This also applies to the fact that she heal you when you need. Lame. - Sometimes, Shiva is too unefficient. She gets captured or killed far too easily. At least Ashley was always near you, and you didn't have her the WHOLE game. - I hate the fact that I have to manage two sets of items. - It is true, she makes the fact that you are surrounded by dozens of enemies far less impacting. I liked how RE4 was "Leon vs the world". Having a partner makes that a lot less interesting. But that's the way it should be, I guess. Team-based combat and co-op are standards these days.

the demo was good. But it seems like capcom is slowly killing the franchise. ReaperV7
We'll see about that when the reviews come in.
Btw, if anyone wants to play co-op (either PS3 or 360), message me your PSN or XBL username.

I dunno about that... Both Chris and Sheva are, and feel like totally different characters. I think it really makes the both of them unique to play as.

I put those two from the comparison like that because you cant see them directly unless you copy-paste them in browser
Aaand here's the picture I just took from my cellphone (yeah, claim offscreen stuff, even though i'm using a PC monitor that doesn't enhance the picture at all). It does look sharper directly, but it's a cellphone camera lol, what more can I expect...
