Warhawk won't be done in by price. If it's done it, it'll be by the enjoyment of the gameplay experience. It's what I've been saying all along about Warhawk:

Gameplay - ??? (the red herring)

Graphics - 8/9 (as good as any, IMO)

Sound - 7/8 (SFX are phenominal...only a littlemusic, which only plays sporadically as things blow up or whatever)

Value - 9 (tons of online options)

Tilt - ??? (dependent upon the gameplay scoring)

...and that will be Warhawk (IMO).

Yeah thats right, I forgot about that announcement. But that just gives people a reason to get the one with a Headset. you get a $35-$40 Headset and the game and an extra DVD for $60. Pretty good deal especially to people that don't have headsets yet.

warhawk looks meh to me. this is coming from a guy whos personal favorite genre is online shooters. that game looks like A-AA type of game no offense imo.

Yeah and IGN scored Red Steel 6.0, so not only do the different branches score differently sometimes it is a whole 2 points different.

Yeah, I really can't think of a reason why someone would not want the headset version. It is a good value, especially if you don't have a headset. I still think that GS will ding the game because the PSN version costs $40, but that's just me.

Superficially at least, Heavenly Sword is an almost impeccable display of sheer, unrestrained talent.
9.0 Graphics
Minor framerate and tearing issues aside, Heavenly Sword is an absolutel tour de force of visual splendour.
8.5 Sound
Voice acting, effects work and soundtrack hit all the rights buttons with gusto, although occassional dodgy level mixing hurts.
6.0 Gameplay
As solid as its component parts are, poor design decisions and awful structure mean they never make for a cohesive, satisfying whole.
6.0 Lasting Appeal
Despite the wealth of combos and extras to unlock, you'll be constnatly battling with tedium on subsequent play-throughs.

they have planet earth on blu ray? oh snaps. i only saw like 7 episodes of it at my friends house on hd-dvd. i saw the BBC version.

Understood. Time will tell...but Cows have to be *quite* concerned right now. Nobody points out gameplay as being this suspect unless it really is, do they? I mean...they gave the gameplay a 6. that's like...BAD.
