And that's the problem. I believe the bugs will be fixed, no question. But what about fundamental gameplay mechanics, will those change? The horrendous party system, where you're just randomly put in a squad. The incredibly dumb decision of only allowing to customize options when alive. When I first installed the beta there I was customizing my controls when suddenly I'm killed and kicked off that screen. This happened a couple of times until I decided to hide and prone somewhere. How dumb is that?! And where's the comm rose?!? And where's the destruction? And now we can spawn on every team member? Where are the squad leaders? And I thought health-regen was supposed to be slower, it feels at least as fast as BC2, no use for medkits.
We're not talking about bugs they can fix, these are fundamental things. This was supposed to feel like BF2/2142 and it really doesn't.
I'm really thinking about cancelling my preorder. I don't know, I may want to hold it just to see if the final game really delivers.

Now here's where real beta testing comes. They've heard the compalints about Battlelog and will probably address them. They said the party system wasn't fully implemented and the squad system isn't fully implemented for the beta either. This was the positive feedback they needed and they'll probably fix that.
There is not a lot of destruction down in the metro and they even disabled a lot of the environmental destruction when you're outside due to a lot of players falling through the level. Caspian border has far more destruciton with entire buildings getting blown away. You can't relaly blow holes through the solid rock wall in a metro station.
The health regen does not work when you're in battle, apparently the entire squad system is broken and you aren't supposed to be able to spawn off of squad mates, only the leader, and there are a bunch of other things (like the comm rose) that aren't even in the beta.
I really really want to believe everything you're saying. We'll just have to wait and see. Hence the problem with pre-orders.
