I have a PS5 so won't bother with this upgrade. And the way this generation has gone will probably hold off getting a newer machine until there is clear indication I cannot play the new games I want on PS5. What will the Pro give me that I cannot get on the PS5?

Isn't that what PC gamers constantly do? I mean I could technically trade in The original PS5 and probably get it for $300 but I'm not a broke bum so I may just drop $600 because I can.

I'll be playing the superior versions of Xbox studio games since MS could give two shits about Xbox 🤣. Regardless some of the best games this year aren't even coming to Xbox because nobody gives a shit about the platform anymore.

I don't care about the PS5 pro at all, but I hope devs take the opportunity and add extra ray tracing to games and that transfers over to the PC ports. Some of the lighting in the God of War games, for instance, is quite poor and could definitely benefit from ray tracing goodness. So, if this happens, then I'm all for it!

Id be interested to see what games will get enhancements. FF16 definitely needs it given that it ran at 720p, but most haves have been CPU limited this gen

Well, I for one am excited for the reveal at least.. Bring it on. Even if they know people like me are their target audience.. I'm A ok with that. Better frames, less sacrifice, more on screen, less slow down and lag, better ray tracing and lighting, better sound, more on screen at once, PS5 Pro enhanced versions... yeah, I'm getting one unless this show is absolutely terrible and doesn't meet my lowest expectations (which I'm 99.9 percent sure they will if it's anything like the numbers that have been leaked online).

Good....but i already have a PS5 , i will wait for the PS6 with the ultra super boost mode for the PS5 games. In 3 years we will have the PS6...so i don't see the reason to buy the ps5pro but it is good for those who don't own a ps5 yet.

If dont own a ps5 yet then this is perfect but if you own one you may as well sit this one out until ps6. The specs of this thing will be very telling.

When you see PC and Xbox fanboys (most who also praise PC) try to use the argument of spending X amount on hardware for slight upgrades when ALL we see them do is praise PC which requires you to invest $600+ a pop REGULARLY for slight upgrades 🤦‍♂️

Getting a new GPU every 5-6 years is a huge upgrade. Not expensive wet fart upgrades like "pro" consoles. You also don't have to replace your PC with a whole new PC. You could just upgrade a little bit if you want, or way the hell more than a pro version of a console. Also, why get a new "Pro" PS5 when you can just wait a little and get the PS6 which isn't too far off? That's usually what PC gamers do instead of expensive wet fart upgrades.
