PSN+ is only going to be worth it only if you buy most of your stuff on PSN. If not, then I really cant see a way to justify this. They arent adding a single thing to make your actual online game experince any better.

OH MY GOD REALLY,, !!! to bad i pretty much bought all of that crap and anything else(game type) that i wanted from the psn store... so that would mean psn is per useless to me.

The first month is neat, the amount I've downloaded already covers half the cost of the entire year.

so far it's basically like a pay-for Steam service but with fewer features and you don't get to keep the games you download on "discount"

i think inevitably if this thing succeeds it'll be if Sony really sticks to their guns and release a steady supply of great content, they can't expect to go lazy and still expect people to subscribe

also i don't think it'll be as popular as XBL, just because you have to subscribe to XBL to play games online on the 360

there's no such basic need for PS+

The first 2 months of PSN+ alone KILLS Xbox live Gold. Crossgame chat and the other features are worthless w/o being able to play online so microsoft is FORCING u to get xbox live gold ontop of paying your monthly internet bill. With PSN+ its optional, and if you do get it your saving HUNDREDS of dollars a year and trying out new types of games u might like.

Not defending NubToober here, but exactly what features in PSN+ have Live Silver members had since 2005? Because, quite frankly, we don't get squat as Silver Members...right down to the fact that Silver membeers have to wait longer for certain game demos. And nothing on Live is even close to free.
