Wow, a lot of hate going around...
Do all PS3 owners really care so much about some new online service that they immediately thinks its Gods gift to mankind?
For XBL, you can't play downloaded games unless you're signed online in some way, even with the free online service you can still download arcade games and many other things. From what I've heard, PSN+ has you paying all the time to keep your stuff, but as soon as you stop paying the service, you lose everything.
From what I can tell, both online services are great, but forcing people to continue to pay to keep their downloaded things?
PSN+ is kind of like driving a bus rigged with a bomb that will detonate if you stop moving. If you stop paying for PSN+, you're screwed.

No. You've been listening to the haters too much. If you buy anything on PSN or download any content like free themes and DLC, or buy DLC or whatever, being a PS+ subcriber or not is irrelevant, you keep that stuff forever, even if you sign up to PS+ and then cancel it. If you sign up to PS+ you get some content to keep FOREVER, like themes, certain DLC, LBP for example, but most of it, the 4+ games per month are like a rental service. Live makes you pay JUST to ACCESS the online portion of your games, you don't get anything for the pricetag, and when you cancel live, they take the online portion of your games away from you, it's borderline scam. The only reason they don't take more away when you cancel is because they never gave you anything to begin with. PS+ is like a free DLC, themes, content + rental service + additional features, betas, demos, game trials etc In it's first month it's already pretty much worth the price tag, imagine after a full year. MS needs to do something with Live quick, at least give us a free"rental" game a month with Gold or something... They give you NOTHING! The only thing they're giving you is something they had no right in taking away in the first place... Scam imo.I'm going to wait off before I decide where I stand on this issue. Honestly, based on your previous posts, I'd like a few more opinions from other people before I decide On how I want to judge the PSN+ service.
Woot? You don't have to share my excitement but my info is spot on... This thread would have been locked by now if I were just spreading lies in every page...
