RESIDENT EVIL 5 demo is up

so is there any horror left in this game from what u can base off the demo compared to RE4...

i know a lot of people say its kind of a joke to consider RE4 a horror game and i agree, but there was certainly still a couple jumpy/freaky parts in it, i sure remember the first time i encountered the zombie with a bag over his with the chainsaw early in RE4 to be pretty damn freakykidcool189

The environment is great but not scary imo! Not an survival horror game like RE1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica.

its funny how they can do 7 or 8 RE games that play almost identically, but as soon as they do a second one that plays like 4 suddenly its somehow not good.

It's the usual band wagon beating. I don't get it personally - even if it was just a reskinned RE4 which it isn't, it would be good to see a bit more of the good that RE4 opened up on.

It's basically RE4 HD which is awesome. I don't really like the controls on the 360 though, I played RE4 on the PS2 and found it much easier. Floppy_Jim

Well, the graphics are good (still overhyped imo) but the environment and enemies are good. On the other hand there are 2 main problems:

1 - The game is not scary imo(at least in the demo). So i wouldnt consider it a survival horror game like Res1, 2, 3 and CV.

2 - You cant walk while aiming. It was not a bad thing in previous gens but imo after playing games like Gears, DeadSpace and others....

You basically want it to be like Gears of War? There aren't many occassions when a trained soldier or special forces operative would fire while moving, unless you count shooting from a vehicle.

From what I gather it is going to be more of the same. They are taking the RE4 forumla and put it in HD with a different set of characters, location. I still can't believe you can't move while you are aiming your weapon. I figured they would have fixed that by now.

Did you use all 5 or so accounts you get with your Xbox 360? Microsoft gives you like 5 accounts and you get a free month of Gold with each one, so you might aswell use them. You can open a new gamertag, then download it there, and then play it using your normal gamertag.
