So does this mean Uncharted 2 is still graphics queen?

So it seems like Uncharted 2 still hold up to the best looking console game. KZ3 had a shot but just missed, then came Crysis 2, but it had a lot of performance issues and didn't hold up. And lastly...yikes this is awkward for 360 owners who have been hyping this games graphics to be the next king! I must say that I like you answer, but would you prefer we say "the best looking game on consoles." Either way, we are going to compare console graphics so you might as well let it slide.

uc2 never was king and never will. Killzone games are the true graphical and technical PS3 marvels, naughty dog said it themselves. Colors does not equal better graphics. Stop getting tricked by Colorsrich-sac

Yes it was.

I don't have a PS3. I do have a PC, 360 and Wii.

Crysis 1 is still graphics king overall. I played Crysis 2 on PC. BUT....

Crysis 2 was stated as the best looking console game by many review sites. No other game has earned that claim since. Some sites said Gears of War 3 is the full realization of the 360 console, but have not compared it to Crysis 2 for people to know for sure.

The one site that bagged on Gears of War while praising Uncharted was Eurogamer. It's hard to take their link seriously when they posted such a review to begin with.

At this point it´s just a matter of opinion since many games on the hd twins look about the same. In my opinion:

1 - Gears 3

2 - Crysis 2

3 - Uncharted 2

4 - Red Dead Redemption

5 - Killzone 3

Who cares, the differences have become so small...I remember being wowed by Gears 1, Oblivion, Uncharted, Killzone2 and Uncharted 2...since then, differences are almost irrelevant...but if you ask me, Killzone2 is still the king. It has incredible animation, incredible realistic AI, Lightning, dynamic environments, explosions and particle effects. While others may have better textures (Gears 3 ) or better animations (Uncharted2), I still think overall Killzone 2 wins. God of War 3 has the best graphics in some places, but other things are just bad in that game.

From a technical perspective, Gears of War 3 wins. From an artistic perspective, it could be any game depending on your tastes, which is why I think Uncharted 2 looks better than Uncharted 3. And cows and hermits will never admit it, but Gears 3 looks beautiful.

lads serius go rent a ps3 and play uncharted 2 (not killzone2/3 god of war 3 etc just uncharted 2),"buuut i have played it and it doesnt have better graphics" noone will believe you, everyone that has played uncharted 2 (not just watched videos on youtube) will say that it has the best graphics on consoles. not just on a technical standpoint but overall graphics nothing beats uncharted 2 on consoles and its a game from 2009... give it a rest plz. waiting for uncharted 3 to put a tombstone to all the crybabies out there.....
