Probable most overused weapon in Dark Souls 3 PvP: The Farron Greatsword (+ dagger). Won't blame people for using it. Has too much cool factor. Suck it, Artorias.

Sadly, it's probably not worth losing for Nintendo. The people supporting groups like GG are EXTREMELY vocal. Nintendo doesn't want to be caught in their crosshairs, so they refused to comment on her harassment. Businesses just want to make money, they don't exactly care about what is ethically correct.
Yes, it's very, very draining trying to speak out on bullshit to say the least. But then you consider she's already been speaking out on her undeserved shit for a while and wonder why they didn't speak out too despite her being part of the company.

They really shouldn't in this case because it has nothing to do with one of their video games. This is a lot different than when EA or Ubisoft stood up for their creative decisions, like adding non-straight characters to their games. No one is going to stand up for their employees talking about child sex laws on their twitter. Posting stuff like that is a suicidal move for a professional career. Everyone should know by now to watch what you say on your social media accounts, especially when you're the head of PR/HR/whatever she was for a company that relies on its family friendly image. They did the best possible thing by cutting ties and saying nothing about it because now it'll just blow over, which is what any other company would do.
Best possible situation without rocking the boat would've been not to ever hire someone known to be outspoken on various issues in the first place because that could only possibly come into conflict with traditional corporate stoicism. But they did.
Best possible outcome that involves firing her would've been making sure they gagged her properly before firing her, making sure nobody would've known about it until well after things had blown over for her and Nintendo because she's currently high-profile and Nintendo's own movements would be scrutinized on how it handles her firing should it come to light. At that point, you may as well not.
But they did fire her and they did forget to gag her and people did find out about her firing amidst ongoing harassment against her, leading to Nintendo getting scrutinized over the matter because Nintendo also has the image of being an inclusive company, from the employees they hire to the games they release, in an industry that's the opposite of inclusive. They failed to protect that image back when the harassment campaign started by staying silent well before her detractors took a look at her LinkedIn profile, then failed again by firing her with a weak-ass excuse intended to deflect any political motive (because firing someone for their views on sensitive issues doesn't do the inclusiveness image much good regardless of her position in the company -- and should've been done much more quickly if it were).

Basically, they walked into this shitshow and they didn't do a good job of walking out of it.
On a completely unrelated note...

Counter will always be my most hated skill in Fire Emblem.
Counter Snipers? Counter Snipers. It doesn't get much more evil than giving the series' punching bag the worst possible thing imaginable short of making all bows 1-2 ranged. lol
