The real question here is how quickly can each force adapt. The chimera are out of the game because it takes months for a foot-soldier to be made. The zerg and the flood can do it relatively quick. Just depends on how many dead enemy soldiers there are.

The other question is can the zerg convert the flood into bio mass they can use, and vica versa. If each can do that to the other, then its a pretty equal fight. If each cant do that to the other, gotta give it to the zerg because they have more versatile units and work using tactics, where as the flood is just a mindless mob of zombies.

He didnt begin bashing until he realized that The Zerg came from Starcraft which is anPC game. Im pretty sure I would be attacked for the same reason if I questioned what the zerg was on some random forum.

Lol, Ultralisk? This is the only part of Gravemind that has been seen, imagine the rest of him:

A) There's only one of him. There are millions of Ultralisks.

B) He's a commander, not a fighter (though he'd probably be decent in a scrap, he's too valuable to risk).

C) Takes thousands of years to form, unlike an Ultralisk which takes moments.

The Flood are wimps. I don't see what's so menacing about them. Keep them isolated on a planet, and they can't do squat. It's a huge plothole in Halo. The Flood can't spread offworld at all unless they have a way of getting offworld first.

The Zerg, however, GROW their own spaceships. Hell, they grow damn near everything. They don't need technology, they just need food. And they can probably evolve to feed on anything, too. In StarCraft, they feed on crystals and volcanic gas, for God's sakes. And anything they touch turns into Creep. And they can infect entire buildings in moments (Zerg Queens and Infested Command Centers, anyone?).

Also, for those still envoking Warhammer 40k races, they don't count since:

• Warhammer 40k is not mainly a video game series
• Warhammer 40k's lore is ridden with stupidly powerful races, gods and magic, it's not even worth mentioning next to more logical gaming universes like Starcraft and Halo. Then again, it would be pretty obvious that races 40k years from now would be stupidly powerful as opposed to Halo and Starcraft races that are only a few centuries advanced.
• This thread is not using Warhammer 40k races anyways.

ZERG RUSH!

Zerg. The flood is dependant on other forms of life to fill out it's ranks. But they can't infect other parasites, so they'd have no ability to swell their numbers and win.

Plus, compared to the Zerg, the flood has some weaksauce heavy support, Mutalisks and Hydralisks are quite formiddable, and all Zerg parasites have their wills anchored to their Cerebrates and Kerrigan. The Flood on the other hand, seem to loosely be under the control of Gravemind (who Kerrigan would pwn), and do not seem especially intelligent, as in the Halo games they are always blowing themselves up with rocket launchers, and often forgetting to use weapons they have in their hands.

Chimera, I dunno, haven't played Resistance.
