The Flood vs The Zerg vs Chimera

zerg, simply because the guardians would bomb them all while scoureg would destroy and covenent ships the flood took over, and the chimera arent as advanced as the protoss are and the Zerg still beat them.

Speaking of which, has anybody heard of the next StarCraft game???

Zerg. The flood is dependant on other forms of life to fill out it's ranks. But they can't infect other parasites, so they'd have no ability to swell their numbers and win.

Plus, compared to the Zerg, the flood has some weaksauce heavy support, Mutalisks and Hydralisks are quite formiddable, and all Zerg parasites have their wills anchored to their Cerebrates and Kerrigan. The Flood on the other hand, seem to loosely be under the control of Gravemind (who Kerrigan would pwn), and do not seem especially intelligent, as in the Halo games they are always blowing themselves up with rocket launchers, and often forgetting to use weapons they have in their hands.

Chimera, I dunno, haven't played Resistance.

^ Agreed, Zerg would win in a fight between these 3. In addition to being stronger they have raw numbers on thier side.

Yeah, I really wasn't so keen on that part of the campaign when I was playing Brood War. The entire time when I was playing the last mission, I was like, "I can't be doing this! I'm killing Protoss!" and then my other half would be like, "You have to, or else you won't see the ending!" :P

The Tyranid are pretty much unstoppable as a race, it's been argued a thousand times. Honestly I just leave them out of these arguments since it's stupid how powerful/massive Games Workshop made them lore-wise.

I just looked at the results, and do some people seriously think the Chimera could stand a chance against either the Flood or the Zerg!? Even the Locusts would be a better contender than the Chimera.

The Locust would stand no chance against the Zerg. The Zerg outnumber them, have more advanced technology (ie, can fly through space) and have infective pathogen strains that would destroy the Locust.

Yep, that was one moment of the game's story that I didn't enjoy.

I was on your side at first, but I saw the light. Maybe you too will see the light.

The Zerg are like the Flood, except they're stronger and more adaptable. The Flood's sheer tenacity would make the fight last a long time (the Flood might even be able to avoid total eradication, though not containment), but the Zerg would prevail in the end.

I've played the first two, the Flood are ultimately the most powerful force ever, they have yet to be defeated after two campaigns, can't say the same for the zerg...Spartan070

Hundreds of Flood warriors can't even kill one stinkin' hand-weapon-wielding Spartan super soldier, or one normal sergeant?  Zerg all the way. :)
