It's easy the Zerg win. The Flood doesn't have the guns, and the Chimera don't have the numbers.Konxumer
The flood does have big guns and it is vehicles and rocket launchers, also energy swords. The Zerg got no weapons or vehices. The flood also got AIDS from the humans so the spores are weapons. BEAT THAT
cant you just shoot them :?I cannot believe the zerg are winning. You are all n00bs of background information. The Flood can only be stopped by starving them to death, that means killing their food/enemies one way or another so they don't have anything else to feed on. Tactics, superior numbers, superior weapons, space travel, it's all meaningless. The Flood have yet to be stopped in a Halo game, and something tells me they won't be stopped in Halo 3, but the zerg get ownd by the player in every Starcraft game.

They will come back to life when an infection form gets to them.
You should have put the Krill in that list, the birds from Gears.Bansheesdie
or even the beserker, that thing scared the crap out of me,and will probably kill all the things mentioned in the poll:P

The berserker scared you? :| That's weird, me and my 9 year old brother were laughing our arses off at the stupid noises it made  Kinda seconded. The first time fighting it, it was awesome.. until we figured out its patterns. In the greenhouse, my friend and I idled around for a good half an hour trying to make it break walls while meleeing it in the butt when it turned its back or stopped. It kinda lost its 'oomph' after that for us. Any monster whose ass you can smack with a pistol butt with impunity is not one to be feared.I'm getting in here late but....The Zerg, hands down....there like Tyranids, and NOBODY can beat the Tyranids. Dasc00That was pretty much my logic in voting for the Zerg, too. :D Tyranids FTW (though I played Dark Angels and Imperial Guard).
From what I've heard, it sounds like the Tyranids are more powerful than the Zerg. But then again, I don't know a lot about either race. sonicmj1they're kinda like zerg plus a few thousand years of evolution to wean out the weaknesses, and a healthy dose of harry-potter-on-acid magic.

That is what Zerg are.
The Locust would own thoseRepeated zerg rushes? Yes. But the Locust have an entire planet to crawl through. A rush army could easily become disoriented and seperated. The entire zerg would overtake the Locust, but one rush wouldn't do anything.

That's be worse than giving the Flood control of the Halo rings. Which would be bad. Really, really, really bad.

Tyranids would win due to the fact that before they attack a planet they are a giant planet-size ball of flesh that disband to make millions and millions of smaller tyranids to attack a planet. After the planet is defeated, they take any biological material and dump it into a digestion pool and reused. The Tyranids then go back into space and form a giant ball with the new genes and technology they acquired and find another planet to attack.

Aren't the Flood the ones that get pwned by machine gun and shotgun fire?TheManOfChoice...they always respawn, always. They can't die. They have yet to be defeated after two Halo games.

Maybe, but I've survived a few zerg rushes. Barely, but I did. You'd be surprised how long Space Marines+Firebats can hold out when you've got formations 3 layers deep of just bunkers and a crapload of spider mines.
That brought back memories... Thank you! Then there is the "Queen B*tch of the Universe"
aka Queen of Blades.

The Bubonic Plague FTW.Spartan070lol the bubonic plague is caused by a tiny flea which can be avoided by just washing yourself everyday
Zerg vs. The Flood is a very good match. Both the Zerg and the Flood are capable of taking their enemies and incorporating their strengths into their own. As I see it, the Zerg have an initial advantage, since existing base zerg forms are more powerful (and greater in number) than existing Flood forms. If the Flood can get even a little bit of a foothold though (Say, managing to infect a drone), then it could be an even game. Remember, the Flood was able to take on the Forerunners, a race that managed to build a weapon system that could wipe out all life in the galaxy. The Protoss had nothing like that. I'd say it really comes down to who adapts to who better, and if the Flood can overcome the Zerg swarm's initial numeric advantage.Im tired of this the Flood will destroy all these parasites. The flood spreads and is a plague. They also have weapons can drive vechicles and is resistant to melee attacks also so that is it. Also the Flood can revive if an infection form get to it. They are almost perfect. But this is my opinion.
Who do u think will win in a fight?
