I know, that alone would make me want a second 360.

But for now we'll have to settle for Target's GTA IV console "wrap."

I know people might find this stupid or it might have already been posted but there is a deal at some BlockBusters going on right now. If you pre-order a copy of GTAIV (Any version) and you pick it up on the 29th they are giving out 5x9 framed art of the game for free. I don't know for how many but it's suspected to be quite a few. And they are pretty nice, wood and glass, not just cheap plastic or paper. It's of Niko by the way.Ibacai

Draw distances are astounding even in MP.

These look great, ppl complaining about GTAIV's graphx must've forgotten how past games looked and the type of game GTA is and it still looks good.

Well........yes it does. I couldn't care less about achievements. To be honest I don't really care about the differences between the 2 versions, but that comes straight from Take 2 so I thought I'd post it.

Actually, the PS3 version is apparently getting those HOME trophies but, if you unlock one, you also recieve special home related content depending on which trophy you unlocked, so, a t-shirt for a certain trophy, then a poster for your wall for another, etc.......

Sounds like a cool plan for anyone who's interested in Home. Personally, I can't wait to take a girl from the red light district round an alley and see what trophy and prize I get that corresponds to that :P

How much is the LE of GTA? I found out the limited version of MGS4 was gonna be $90-something after taxes and I literally laughed in the GameStop manager's face.

Is this one going to be priced similarly? If so, it too will be skipped.

I'm pretty sure it's 90-something also. I also don't see how a cheap duffel bag, extra artwork and a small lockbox is worth $30, but to each his own. :P

I want to add more but I am speechless. This game will rock. I now am thinking of requesting two days off from work and not one to enjoy the goodness called GTA4!!!

Sorry. I remembered wrong. They both have a stable framerate. The colours are more vibrant on the X360 version and the PS3 has less aliasing issues.

What's the first thing you notice? Not trying to start something... but it's kinda obvious.

Also, I don't like the layout much but whatever, don't need a launch center to tell me GTAIV's gonna be the best game this year.

Wow the mutiplayer preview was garbage. They could of told us about free roam, and how free it really is. Also if online play really downgrades the game.

Seriously though, the 29th can't get here fast enough. Does anyone know if the delivery date to stores is the 29th? My meaning is, does anyone know if on the morning of the 29th I can go pick it up or is the 29th the shipping date?dhjohns

The release date is the 29th, so you can buy it on the 29th. I'm not really sure when it's being shipped to retailers, but I'd imagine it'd be available in their stores (with armed guards protecting the copies, if they're smart) a couple of days before the release.

Michael Pachter says that GTA IV will sell more on 360, but sell more PS3's. I think his prediction is on the mark, but we will see.

The installed base of the 360 is made up of hardcore gamers who will pounce on GTA IV. But there is a broad swath of potential PS3 buyers who've been waiting for this game's release.

If you have GTA SA for PC, you can download a tool that rips the music out of the game resources. If you do that though, they rip into an obscure .ogg codec and the DJ commentaries are crossfaded onto the tracks.

Gotta say im really exited about it..... Even though my anticipation has been pretty timid in the months leading up.

Its the multiplayer that has really sparked my attention, combat system, and other particular details about the game.

Im not sure if the MP will hold up against GTA3/VC/SA on PC with 200 people online at once, but from what I have read on Kotaku its going to be a blast nonetheless.

Agreed 100%. That was some of the most fun I had with Crackdown. Just randomly causing destruction to the whole town!
