I have no doubt that the real numbers are higher, but in some cases you can use precentages to hide issues because of the smaller population size between two groups.

Very intresting. The 360 is impressive to have as large a portion as it does with as many games as it has.
The wii deserves all the hate its getting and its not enough.
Sales dont equal games and wii is a money making machine and not as dedicated to games than it was before.
Its hard to call you a gamer with a 'wii only' console.
Nintendo are being LAZY. Instead of going forward with technology and entertainment, it seems like theyre going backwards.
Most of the things theyre developing and the hardware, are all done before except its just all gone mainstream and casual.
Look on the brightside, the ps3 and 360 and including the pc are here to fulfill and expand your gaming needs.
Interesting enough, it's very close to the PS2 percentage at Metacritic. PS2 has 49.09% which derived from 781/1591.Very intresting. The 360 is impressive to have as large a portion as it does with as many games as it has.

115 "Good" game and the console considered crap. Then again, in comparison, they are less. Could you by any chance do percentages with exclusive games 70+? Just out of curiousity.I didin't ask for that. And I'm asking your for sources. No sources, no credibility.insanejedi
What sources will you accept? I got all of the numbers off of VGcharts to make life simple, but most of these games have been in the news for there great sales on the Wii, I'm sure I could find another source for most of the list.
I might be an odd one, but I for one find the Wii a good source of entertainment. If i'm not mistaken your suggesting that technological advances cause games to be more entertaining.... I've gotten more entertainment out of Star Tropics (played earlier this year) as I have out of many current gen games. The wii deserves all the hate its getting and its not enough.

Just out of curiousity.SMR-VenomI could do that... but do you want me to go sleep tonight? Seriously, going through each and every game would take frickin' forever and frankly, it's a waste a time. :P The vasty majority of titles on the Xbox 360 are NOT located on the Wii -- they may be multiplatform, but the Wii gets left out on a ton of quality multiplatform games. Anyways, to put it in perspective, the Xbox 360 released "113"quality titles LAST YEAR (2008) -- so the Xbox 360 managed to nearly outdue the Wii's entire library in one year. :o
Well...the Wii does deserve most of the hate it receives. It has disappointed a great many people with the hoards of lazily produced shovel ware that flood the shelves. Nintendo and the third parties have starved gamers for several months with sub-par efforts...Wii owners looking for new games go to the store only to find My Pet Horzez or Kidz Sportz or Dogz or Catz games. Yes we all know the great games are out on the Wii, but we all bought them a year ago or more. Metroid, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Zelda...and a smattering of some decent third party efforts that reach a decent level of competence. Its been a long hard year and traditional gamers are not too appreciative of Nintendos new "Wii Fit" direction.
That said, the Wii also does not get the respect it deserves. It is successfull beyond anyones expectation. When it works, it works fantastic. Its a very playable and fun little game machine that has captured the imagination of millions of people. The future could be very bright if the software makers truely start to show off what the Wii is capable of doing...there is a huge installed base of gamers just waiting to be served.

I might do them myself lol just to see. Since consoles should be defined by exclusives.
I don't think the wii gets proper respect because it does not cater to the traditional gaming market, males aged 18-24. Most of that demorgraphic are playing shooters and fighters and those titles are lacking on the wii. (Not because of Nintendo but because 3rd parties have not included in the wii in many of their hit games. Looking at some of the titles that are going to be released this year I would say that slowly the 3rd party companies are coming over to the dark side and are developing games for the console, finally.) The wii is truely a family console, there is something for everyone and everyone is playing something and the 'core' gamers are becoming something totally differnt than a couple of years ago..
I am the demographic that Nintendo is aiming for, a mother with spending money. I'm also a female that grew up in the age of video games and I have waited an awfully long time for games to be marketed to me. MS and Sony missed the boat on getting my money when they stopped making games I wanted to play.
It deserves hate because it's destroying true gaming with its crappy non-HD graphics, plain and simple. Luckily the system is a sinking ship which will crash and burn once the fad is over. Even now the HD family consoles are crushing this damning system. Nintendo needs to do us real gamers a favor and just die like it was suppose to already! runbleduck.. wow. So wait, so 'true gaming' only began this gen then right, considering we didn't have HD ready console before this generation.
It's hard to call a Wii only owner a gamer? Anyone who plays games is a gamer -- no matter what platform or what type of game -- you cannot say 'you are not a gamer because you own this console' -- it sounds ridiculous. The wii deserves all the hate its getting and its not enough.

The Wii has some of the most annoying online I've ever seen. I really wish they didn't bother with friend codes.
O I've seen plenty of multi-platform games get dumbed down for the wii, and it's bloody annoying.
"The games are crap."
"I don't care for the games."
Semantics. ;)
The type of games I like certainly are niche on the Wii. Like you're saying, it is not directly competing with the PS3 and 360 as Nintendo is targeting a different demographic. I wasn't even particularly interested in what Nintendo were offering before the Wii happened. Super Mario Galaxy, Mad World and Fragile are the ones. What's that, one game per year?
And taking risks my ass, what the low development cost and high profit potential encourages more than anything is shovelware.

Wow. Where do I start?
"True gaming" does not exist. I don't play my PS3 on an HDTV. Am I not truly gaming?

call me what you will, but i thought wii music was a good game, probably not worth its release price (i dont think most games are worth their release price), but still a decent buy when it gets cheaperMy problem with the wii:
1. The best of the wii games are fairly mediocre compared to the competition or even nintendo's first party titles (3rd party).
2. Although the wii is supposed to be some sort of a revolution in gaming, it seems to only inspire games with waggle and pointing attached to previously upheld gaming formulas.
I thought most of the users on here agreed that the proper term for "shovelware" is "games that i dont like"? well the intelligent ones anyway._Cubit_
Games, like movies and books ... and many other things, have different levels of quality and effort that was put into makign them.
Shovelware is the term for what's at the bottom.
