I have seen so many PC gamers rubbing this game in my face and now it is no longer going to be an exclusive.
so Ill be playing Kz3, dead space 2, uncharted 3, andWitcher 2 all on my ps3, on my 40 inch HDTV, kicking back with surround sound, sitting in my contouring gaming chair.

The Witcher 2 is not confirmed for consoles.
Hey guess what? Any Pc gamer with surround sound and a contouring gaming chair will be too. That stuff isn't limited to consoles only.
so many PC gamers are oblivious to how utterly impractical it is to do what you are suggesting (regardless if it is technically possible). as a testament to this, I guarantee that 95% of PC gamers on this site dont have such a set up, one which you claim is so easy to create. you dont factor in many things.
From what I have seen, most people have their computers in their bedrooms. I dont know any adults who keep their desktop computers in the living room. Im not sure if you have ever installed surround sound, but do you realize how impractical it is to set it up in a bedroom?
also, considering how expensive it can be, most people are likely to only set up surround sound in one part of their house. Now, as much as I like surround sound in my games, if I had to choose whether to use it for only gaming or movies respectively, I would pick the latter. It seems kinda frivolous to have surround sound for your computer, and not in your living room.
as for the really nice gaming chairs, try using a keyboard and mouse with one of these chairs.
To put it simply, they dont accommodate them.
How hard can it be to move a computer from the bedroom to the living room? What's so different from setting up a surround sound system in a bedroom compared to the living room? My friend has a (rather bad) setup in his room, and I don't recall him complaining about it being hard to set up.
WTF are you serious  Yeah, I'm serious its been like that for the for months now, I guess its just a matter of time before the actual figure out the game got caned, but theres still apart of me thats hoping this online retailer knows something we don't I can't control my laughter...[QUOTE="lawlessx"][QUOTE="Supabul"] You know whats funny in my orders section it has the witcher rise of the white wolf awaiting stock, I'm like hurry up I want the game nowSupabul
I don't think any normal pcgamer minds pcgames going multiplat, as long as it doesn't affect pc version. Witcher 2 is designed for PC only, that's in reality the only version that's being worked right now. Console ones never went beyond prototype phase and the team simply lacks resources to do anything but pc version now. So there's no way this game will be consolized or dumbed down, both gameplay-wise and graphically. I don't see how any sensible pcgamer would mind if the game gets later ported to consoles. What's the harm in that?

Its probably due to fear that CD Projekt may take the route of several good pc devs. With the original game being pc only then the sequel gets simultaneous console development. Then the game is effectively stripped down due to console hardware limitations being only a shadow of its former self. Then the cycle repeats.
Since its coming to consoles im sure i will get it on PS3.djsifer01You're going to wait a year or however long it's going to take instead of just getting it on that decent gaming PC you got in your sig? That makes no sense.
People still think it's not coming to consoles?
Did anyone actually read the interview? They've been planning this since day one it's their ultimate goal so to say. They even designed the game for a controller, they even demoed the game with a controller, at this moment I'm just skeptical if it will even feel natural on KB&M. In every interview, console this console that.
This game isn't really any different than console ports, it's just coming to PC earlier. This look like any normal PC inventory...Scrolling...really... Tons of wasted space....Letters the size of a rhinosarous, tons of wasted space.
This isn't a must buy game for me anymore. I don't care if it's superb, it's not a PC game, and doesn't have any advantage for me to buy it besides other games or other RPG's.

Now that's quite a bold claim. Naturally, I can only speak for myself here, but it doesn't neglect the fact that hooking up a PC to your TV doesn't necessarily have to be expensive. Ten metres of HDMI-DVI cable is what solved it for me so that I can have my PC where it's hooked up to my regular 26" monitor, but also - using the second DVI connector on my GPU - my 46 inch Samsung LED. One mouse click transfers the display to the TV. Or, if I want, I use both sources at the same time.
The audio part, then? Same thing really. One mouse click changes the audio output from that of the headphones connected to the dedicated sound card to the optical cable hooked up to my Marantz reciever.
Now, I didn't spend a fortune on those cables. In fact, they were among the cheaper ones I could find, and they do the job perfectly fine. Couple this with the fact that the 360 controller is supported in most of today's games (well, as far as multiplats go at least, hell, even Crysis supports it), and you can bet I have a good time relaxing in my bed playing in full 1080p glory with a very good sound setup. And it looks so much better than on my PS3.
Point is, it doesn't have to be expensive nor inconvenient to play PC games on your HDTV, comfortably.

Guys, let me clarify. The interface will utilize both perfectly. We didn't want to favor anyone. No matter if you play with a joypad or keyboard plus mouse the controls will work proper in both cases.
Inventory in the Witcher 2 will be a hybrid - that's the right word I would use. It will have elements of grid view as well as some scrolling. I can assure you that it will be really clear and user friendly. No need to worry
CDP will never be able to make as much money on console games as they do on PC ones, so PC versions will always remain priority for them. Its probably due to fear that CD Projekt may take the route of several good pc devs. With the original game being pc only then the sequel gets simultaneous console development. CDP will never be able to make as much money on console games as they do on PC ones, so PC versions will always remain priority for them. It's going to be the same for Stalker if they still plan to release Stalker 2 on consoles eventually. The game won't sell without a bunch of ads all over the place. Especially if it's a new IP for that specific platform.[QUOTE="Gamerz1569"]

Yes, strange how much influence a article from a relatively PC unfriedly site can make.
The inventory is just a placeholder anyway, and the funny thing is that the first games inventory was more limited than most console inventory's. There was nothing to put in there. 3 armors , potions and alchemy ingredients while droping every possible lot without the ability to sell the found swords, daggers and axes without losing a day for picking them up 2 by 2.
Now there is much more items to collect and craft. The EE edition got latter the option to arange things, it wasn't initilay there.

Eurogamer:What's the problem? Why not develop a console version alongside the PC version?
Tomasz Gop: Three reasons: time, people and money. We have not released any console games yet. That's why we're approaching this topic with even more caution.
