A GT 220 is much much weaker than an 8800gt.

An 8800gt is closer to a GTS 250 although slightly weaker.

But you're right about the PC requirements usually being inaccurate.

Plus its on an old, crappy engine that I wouldn't even want consolers to use. Maybe they can talk them into porting it onto the new engine but thats a big maybe. Next-gen consoles I could definitely see it being ported then.

From what I have seen, most people have their computers in their bedrooms. I dont know any adults who keep their desktop computers in the living room. Im not sure if you have ever installed surround sound, but do you realize how impractical it is to set it up in a bedroom?

also, considering how expensive it can be, most people are likely to only set up surround sound in one part of their house. Now, as much as I like surround sound in my games, if I had to choose whether to use it for only gaming or movies respectively, I would pick the latter. It seems kinda frivolous to have surround sound for your computer, and not in your living room.

as for the really nice gaming chairs, try using a keyboard and mouse with one of these chairs.

Just because its the way you use it and have it set up doesn't mean its limited to only the way you use it.

And yes I do know about setting up a surround unit in a bedroom. I have an Onkyo TX-SR508 in my room with 6 bookshelfs wall mounted, POLK CS10 with my monitor sitting on top of it, and a Yamaha subwoofer. The only bad thing was that I was unable to get into my roof to pull the wires through and have them exposed, but not in the way of anything.

It costs 300 for a decent surround sound setup. One that isn't the crappy HTiB. Theres many, many options in getting a setup. You can also spend less or just as much on headphones from a good company like Sennheiser, AKG, or Audio Technica that will demolish the sound quality of a surround setup of equal price.

your right, gaming chairs don't. Good thing we can use gamepads for any game on PC if we wanted to. Also a nice computer chair is way more comfortable than those padded rocking chairs.
