bottom line objectively speaking pc gaming is better than console gaming its a fact. everything the consoles can do the pc does better.

every 'advantage' the consoles have are purely subjective which is why theres no way to declare one better than the other because sometimes for a individual those subjective advantages > the objective ones

Both have their pluses and minuses.... for example.... Consolites don't get to play Diablo, but Hermits don't get to play Super Mario Galaxy or anything close to it.

This is why I game on both PC's and Consoles.

those are subjective points though which is what im saying. if you find console gaming easier then good, if you like console offline with friends good (not refering to you) personally all those things are easier to me for the pc

The PC is the best gaming platform imo, but I'd take a couple consoles over a gaming PC any day.

crysis on high settings (which can be done on pretty much anything) has better graphics than any console game or any game for that matter. STALKER CS same thing but max. hell HL2 with the CM same thing.

Yeah flying helicopters is much much easier with a controller... And I don't get how you like driving with the keyboard... There are no soft movements like with an analogue stick and triggers... So you can't halfway hold a key like the trigger to drive slower or barely hold a key to turn slowly like you can with an analogue stick... you can either press it or not... There is no in between...

EDIT: Thanks for the reply above about GRAW, I guess I won't be grabbing it then because it sounds kind of terrible compared to the console version...

In fact the main reason the GTA IV port was labeled as a terrible port was exactly because most games had specs lower than a 360. Most PC gamers had C2Ds while the Euphoria engine was made to use 3 cores just like the 360. All the other bugs where fixed via patches or drivers(atleast the popular ones). The funny thing is that the consoles settings are around a mix of low and medium settings on the PC version, this without including stuff that isn't by default in the menu like draw distance and population density that can be modified to higher values than in consoles. But as usual everyone ignores this and just bashes the game because some people cannot max it.

I'd say there's a pretty good reason you don't see a lot of sports and party-type games on the PC. The environment isn't right most of the time (since most people put PCs in places other than by the big-screen TV that everyone can comfortably see from the couch, and it ain't a good party or sports game unless you can rib your buddy after a good play).HuusAsking

of course thats true but im staying objective here. things like game prices, the ability to use any controller, are all factual advantages. consoles generally being smaller and lighter is a factual advantage.

the part about the processors was half right. the game does benefit from more cores. on the the ps3 the spes act as mini cores, meaning if you offload the work to them its no different than having a few normal cores in terms of power.
