1.) Characters acting like friends? Isnt there a betrayal in MGS4 , GTA4, Bioshock, and Half Life 2? I dont see your point.

2.) The only game I know where the enemies reload in cover is GeOW. Uncharted enemies have limited space to work with.

3.)He did find the city -_-.

4.)Any other unjustified hate you have for the game?

@DarkLink It's the 8th highest rated game of all time. I find it hard to believe people will be like "Lol wut iz chartedUn?"

uncharted has great cover style combat. simple fact. youre taste limited if you dont like it

so you can't. the limitation is that that is what the game is. (actually uncharted also has platforming) you keep saying that there are better games, yet you can't name any. and comparisons of different genres are stupid. how do you know if it is overrated if you can't think of a legitmate comparison? go ahead and use other platforms now but same genre. (all i can think of off the top of my head this gen is gears of war and maybe GRAW on 360)

but that is beyond the point. you haters' main argument that the game isn't good just because of the story. any problems with the gameplay or features, since they should be where most of the rating comes in? we all know uncharted is no epic story. the makers of the game simply compared it to "a summer blockbuster" in that what it really is about is the action. but it gets the job done. it entertains people. it doesn;t bore with an overly long and drawn out campaign. the other points i've seen against it are also ridiculous. reloading out in the open? you can and should do that behind cover. and that happens in any shooter. the game isn't original? of course, but does it need to be? it takes many great mechanics from various different games to provide a solid package. MP is a blast and is being supported by the devs quite well (even has fun little holiday events) theater and machinima mode for those kinds of people, and takes a concept like cover in tps and combines it with platforming to create a unique hybrid of gameplay.

Those are stupid and arbitrary limitations that have nothing to do with what this discussion is about (the fact that the game is critically the 6th best game ever on GR).

A game doesn't have to be in the same genre to be the better game.
