LastRambo, my PC PC was made specifically for gaming. Why do you think there are companies that make parts specifically for gaming? Many GPU's and CPU's are offered to the gaming community, in terms of increasing the performance. (CPU's are more general, but gaming GPU's are gaming GPU's).

LastRambo341

Who are you?

Stop being an idiot.

That's two of my questions you've not bothered answering :lol:

[QUOTE="LastRambo341"][QUOTE="lundy86_4"]

A PC can quite easily be defined as a "system" (as it seems you are trying to differentiate them), and it plays games, thus it can be seen as a "gaming system". Done and done.

lundy86_4

Nope. Bad reasoning

Why?

Try for both :)

You were trying to call it a computer over a gaming system. Saying that it was not possible for a PC to be a "gaming system". Wat I did, was outline why it was a system and that it's capable of being a gaming system.

I practically will give up on console gaming if manufacturers can't design adequate cooling for their systems. This generation was a flop in regards of console hardware reliability. Yeah, consoles exclusively have premature breakdowns that never have a 100% repair success rate.

So, when people think of a "computer", do they think of it as a gaming system? I know it does "gaming", but if you were doing an exam, and you were asked to define a computer then answering it by saying, "its a gaming system" is WRONG

You seem to be getting more confused with interchangeable descriptions rather than one being a direct description of the other (i.e. defining a computer as a gaming system in an exam). Regardless of it being a personal computer, it is still a gaming system. The system plays games, end of story :?

So, ipad, iphones, Nokia phones, McDonalds toys etc. should also be counted, right?

Counted where? I see mobile devices as gaming systems, certainly. iOS and Android have a multitude of great games. McDonald's toys? They're typically toys, not electronic systems.
