That was about as original as a rap remix. I'm sure one day you'll reach a third grade reading level so you can read this beacon of pure truth. One day...[QUOTE="October_Tide"]*only bush this guy'll ever get*

What a stupid thread. It was going well, until he discredited games that don't deserve to get discredited. Lol @ his quote "MW3 is better than BF3" and Lol @ his quote of "Trials and FEZ being better than Risen 2."
Also, Colin a better movie than Batman(I'm assuming that's the new one, the one that's not out)? I bought and I watched the first half of Colin, I couldn't finish it because it was executed so badly. It was a good idea, but it wasn't enthralling or very interesting of a movie. I do agree that Avatar sucked. Titanic however, was pretty good as far as movies go. You should have went with Oldboy or The Man From Nowhere or something, would have made a better point.
You had a point until you became pretentious beyond belief TC. I do agree that many indie games are better than full retail games, but pretentiousness can only be taken so far until it turns into outright snobbery for the sake of not liking popular things.
Slashless
Never said Colin was better than The Dark Knight (yeah I used a Rises gif, sue me)
Trials Evolution and Fez are indeed looking to be tenfolds better than Risen 2.
MW3 is indeed better than Boretle Fail 3.
Titanic sucked beyond belief. leonardo de Crapio can't act to save his life.
^Only decent thing that came from that movie^
for the sake of not liking popular things.DragonfireXZ95
Again i have to repeat myself.
GTA4, SMG2, MGS4, Some of my favorite games of all time.
I know the truth sparks accusations of Hipster, but you'll get over it, trust me. ;)
I guess you just don't know good games then. GTA4 wasn't all that great. MGS4 was good, but not any better than an 8 in my books. Also, you probably just suck at BF3, most of the people who hate the game suck at it. I can understand if you're one of those people that hates games because they don't know how to play them.I guess you just don't know good games then.DragonfireXZ95

Yeah, with all that time I spent half asleep during BoringFail 3 it was quite hard to learn how to master the game.
ITT: Replying to an entertaining thread with *****-ass "didnt read" memes.illmatic87Got to question the Intelligence of system wars when they can't be bothered to read a normal sized thread filled with "pretty pictures" that I put in to dumb it down for them.
Well, one thing can be said in favor of this thread. I got a few funny pics out of it.
On topic, I agree that many big budget titles are heavily overrated but I tihnk Indie Devs have way too much value placed on them as well.

Who's more mad, the one giving the facts or the one denying them. ;)
Can't deny what I didn't read. Kudos on the batman gif though.
I read this topic 10 times over ( due to how funny it was), and I agree that indie games have much more ambition and ideas put into them. They truly show what games are suppose to be, a fun, unique experiences that you'll remember for quite a while. Quite possibly forever
But that's where it ends , really. Super Meat Boy is my 2nd favorite game of 2010, but Uncharted 3 , IMO, curbstomps it with the enchanting SP and highly addictive MP. Skyrim is nothing new, but what's old is freaking fantastic. Mass Effect ( 1 & 2 ) both show how a universe can stay constant and provide you a sense of adventure, one that can't be shown in a downloadable indie game. The only backwardsa- well, whatever the word means, that is apparent in society today is how we treat certain devs/publishers with HIGH praise for doing something, and critisize another for doing the same exact thing, only better.
Can't deny what I didn't read.

I know it was a bit more high leveled than you can handle. Maybe 2 years from now when you're in the 7th grade you'll be able to understand what I'm trying to teach you young one. Enjoy the Batman gif, show it to all your friends in the 5th grade.

The only "Adventure" I got with the Mass Effect titles was my journey back to Gamestop to return them and buy myself a TRUE high quality RPG like Alpha Protocol.

But you said I had to reach the third grade reading level first, so in 2 years, wouldn't I be in 5th grade with said friends who are now in the 5th grade who would be in the 7th grade?
Why are you trying to confuse me:cry:

... I don't think Alpha Protocol is considered "high quality" in many gaming sites. Not because it's a bad game, it's because it's a horrible one.Gotta say it's opinion and mine is the exact opposite of yours. For example, Skyrim >>>>>>> Bastion and pretty much the same outcome for all your examples. Now everygame doesn't need 50 million as a budget, the Tales of Games prove that but still cost a decent chunk of change (much much more than any indie title), but generally most games benefit from an actual design team from a studio. But I also hate just about everything indie; games, music and movies. Give me Mass Effect, Ozzy and Lord of the Rings anyday over any of that indie crap. Pretty much indie games rely on ancient game genres and old pixel graphics, which honestly I have no interest in anymore. I'm not all about graphics, I just would rather everything be more modern for a new game today in order to hold my interest (like tales of graces f looks perfectly fine to me, but the gameplay is updated and more modern).
So in my opinion, The elder scrolls, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Final Fantasy, Tales of series, The witcher series, Devil May Cry, Batman AA/AC and many other high cost high profile games are all much better than indie titles for many reasons. They just simply interest me more than any indie title has.

You got your sh*tty animations
Your bad gunplay
Your glitches
Now..let's ignore the fact AP has more gameplay variety, better writing, a far superior dialogue system, better characters, ACTUAL RPG mechanics ect.
Mass Effect has a much better cover system. that's it. lol.
Alpha Protocol has MANY different endings that are effected by the choices you made during your playthrough.
Mass Effect has colors.

First of all, it's "por que" not "pour que."
Second of all, bagging on Xenoblade Chronicles as if it was hyped pre-release like a CoD or Elder Scrolls game and pretending like it's a crappy game... shame on you. You have some valid points, like how Bastion is better than everything, but you lost credibility with the "pour que" and the finger to Xenoblade Chronicles.
[QUOTE="drinkerofjuice"] And nothing grabs a person's attention like an unusually stupid post.Slashless
Well you certainly have my attention right now, so yeah I think your theory is correct.
You're not very good at this, are you?Alas, at least you're humble enough to call yourself the dumbest poster here.
I actually just went back and read the end of your post TC. HOW DARE YOU try and say a indie game is better than Xenoblade!! Go ahead, play your indie games and I'll stick to my games like Xenoblade like I posted before. But really, Society is not backwards, there are tons who tend to not think very highly of indie titles.

Because I'm the one who made the thread? You're not very good at this, are you? Nah you just seem to be very upset over this. No one cares about Spanish NeNin. Well, no one imprtant. It's all about french and English. But that's a different subject for a different time.
And I never said Xenoblade was crap, actually, unlike most sh*tty jrpg's out there, it looks half decent. But, it will be outmatched, by Trials Evolution and Fez. Most games this year will.
