Pc of course. Because pc have more and better exclusives. Also the 600$ pc is going to give you better graphics than consoles.
having all 3 is the best deal :)lawlessxThis is true. I see you playing Mafia, it is an excellent game.

PC + 360 imho.
PC + PS3 would be much better :PTHe 360 has more high quality exclusives, superior console multiplats, better controller and most of my friends have a 360 8). Actually PS3 has more higher quality exlcusives http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AriQpIFbPoEacGM1b0xxcGVucFQ3OFc4N3BNZmd2QkE&gid=2 PS3: AAAAE = 1 AAAE = 7 AAE = 12 360: AAAE = 7 AAE = 13 PS3 has much more diversity in its exclusives. Also there arn't that many PS3/360 games I can think of the only recent one in my mind was FFXIII which was better on the PS3. But the fact you have friends on the 360 cancels out all of that. And having all 3 like I do is a great thing, I can't miss a game, unlike fanboys.

I'm not saying it's hard, not at all, but people are in general afraid of computers. Those are the type of people who buy things from the Apple Store :P

Sorry to burst your bubble but you'll need a HD tv to go with the ps3/xbox360 as well. Chalk up another $1000
So a $600 gaming pc or $1600 consoles? I know which I'd choose (hint: not the consoles).

There are few games that push a GPU to its limits, maybe a few others like ARMA II, Shattered Horizon, Metro 2033 DX11. On the other hand none of those games are a problem for my 5870.I find it funny people measure video cards based of Crysis performance only. Not everyone is gonna like or play that game.

Depending on your tastes, I'd go with two consoles anyday. Pc is a great choice assuming you love what it has to offer in game selection.

Not mine, but the fact that people are measuring video cards with Crysis and yet there are few PC games these days that actually push recent cards to their limits. Like the 5770, that card would barely be phased by most PC games unless you're trying to run them at max on a super high res.
