anyway microsoft usually reveals its exclusives much closer to the release date than sony or nintendo do, i think its part of its marketing strategy to not only make the hype for the game really high, but also extremeley dense.

and can you count halo:OSDT an actual game?

Well Lost and Damned is AAAE on Gamerankings and metacritc, so if it weren't for the rules of this forum then the 360 would already have one.comeonthehoops

The 360 will have hard times producing another exclusive Goty, But I believe Forza if released this year will get AA at least and has a decent chance of getting AAA. Halo ODTSSNBV whatever will get pwned harder then Wars, just because it bears the HAlo name and Lemmings are all over tha place :D.

For Wii, here are some possibilities [NOTE: This is not hype, don't take it as such]:

2. Little King's Story: May 29
3. Muramasa: The Demon Blade (though I doubt it): July 2009

Is ODST even a full game? I am sure Gamespot will rescind it's "we don't review expansion packs" policy to give a Halo game a 10.5.

On the topic of ODST, what a GOD AWFUL NAME. Orbital Drop Shock Trooper? What the fu- seriously? 100 bucks most of the people that buy it can't even pronounce the name. I'll also take side bets that the box art makes it look like Master Chief is in the game.

Seriously though I can't think of a single likely AAAE that's currently announced. Alan Wake should be fantastic, but it's on PC and will almost assuredly be better on PC. Splinter Cell, if they finally finish it.

Right now MS is either scrambling to find something, or they have an exclusive FF7 remake in the can right now, just waiting to be released. I am guessing the former, based on that KZ2 damage control stating that phantom, unannounced future 360 games would look even better than Killzone, and the fact that they had to go back to the Halo well to even get people discussing a AAAE in MS' future. My how times have changed.

Let's not anybody get cocky, though (too late). All the consoles have now had some dry times. It could happen to you!

AAAe's are tricky.

When Halo 3 came out in 2007, that was huge, and then the 360 went AAAeless for a full year until on the anniversary, we got GeoW2.

I would think the same thing will happen. GeoW2 was in Nov 2008, so by Nov. it will get something, but there could be a surprise before then.
The reason I think it will happen this Xmas season is that's when Halo 3 ODST comes out...but since that's an expansion, it may get a 8.5, but I think it has what it takes to get AAA.

If not, Forza 3 could pull it off in the Nov month as well.

It's hard to get an AAAe game at the beginning of the year, KZ2 was kind of a fluke, as was MLB09:The Show. I think it will be more interesting if the PS3 will get ANY MORE AAAe's this year.

Lately, the PS3 has been rolling out some quality games, starting from MGS4, it got R2, LBP, KZ2, and MLB09:The Show.

So, that kind of makes up for the drought.

The 360 went on a drought from Halo 3 all the way to GeoW2. It's been getting about one AAAe a year, and this year looks to be the same.

Just an observation, I'm not on any "side".

Ratchet Booty was another game that had the same graphical quality and production values, for example. DLC just doesn't count, it's a whole bag of worms.

DLC isn't even available to HALF the 360 owners (That's Millions of users).
