[QUOTE="110million"] Yeah, well I usually upgrade every 2-3 years, long enough to play games on high, at much higher resolutions, much crisper images, much higher quality graphics than the PS3/360, I don't play console games for graphics, I have never played a console game that wow'd me with its graphics, unless it was artistic like Braid or Okami, I don't care about graphics that much, so I'm cool with playing a lot of console games. That said, best settings is a joke, when best settings is low-medium on PC, it doesn't mean much. Accept console graphics are always poor in comparison to PC and move on. MK-Professor
my ps3 is 4 years old and has games like uncharted 2 and killzone 2 both that have better graphics than the almighty crysis which cannot even run on a 4 year old pc especially not one worth $400
The 8800GTX that is older than the ps3 can run crysis with (1650x1050, high settings, 35fps) or (1280x720, very high settings, 35fps) and that is already look WAY BETTER than uncharted 2 and killzone 2... and that is a FACT
They will never learn, Both games mentioned from PS3 above, arent that great looking comparing to Pc games that can use the extra juice, because of the low resolutions, low quality textures(namely KZ2) and no to very little filtering like AA and AF. Its funny that they try to compare consoles to Pc's that are two times or more faster/better. Both consoles are stuck in the 2004/2005 based hardware timeframe. Even when the 360 came out back in late 2005, in early 2006 Pc had the 8800GTX which was 3x faster with direct x 10 and had 3x the memory to allow those higher resolutions, and extras that the console cant use. They dont realize how much cutting, editing and toning down is done to a console game to make it work A.K.A run and look descent with their limited resources. Every, I mean every multipleform game looks better on Pc even with the same era hardware because those have more resources they can use. And some arguing that the RSX off the PS3 which is a stripped version of a normal 7800GTX try to say that it can out perform a full blown 7800GTX. Its like saying a 7800GS with 256mb will out perform a 7800GTX with 512mb, Its dumb, its like saying 60 mph is faster then 100 mph. Some dont realize like a game like Crysis renders a whole level/ map at one time not in sections, which allows longer draw distances, and other odds and ends. Crysis can use well more then 1gb of system memory, and 512mb of video memory, and the consoles only have 256mb for system and 256mb for video. So it tells you that Crysis 2 will be stripped down to accommodate the Consoles.
