Their squeaky voices annoy me. Also they really shouldn't be hearing some of the crap that gets spewed over the mics. I think the biggest reason why little kids are so friggin annoying and think they're so cool by swearing their heads off is a direct result of xbox live.
I have one kid on my friends list that just turned 12. He's a good kid & rarely, if ever, swears at all. He's really good at setting up Co-Op missions & introducing me to new players. I feel kind of weird having a conversation with him because I'm 41 & well, let's just face it, it IS kinda weird to be talking to a 12 year old all of the time. I just make sure that we stay on topic & keep the whole deal as "innocent" as possible.
The fact that this entire thread was made sickens me. Look, there a adults who are jerks on live just like there are kids who are jerks on live. I only difference is that one sees more prejudice than the other. Everyone should be able to be on live as long as they hit the age requirement. SwimPUNK

Well a simple resolution to some of the problems addressed by the thread is initiating a potential raise in the age requirement. Im not saying I disagree with what your saying, bc i agree completely that they are plenty of jerks over 12 or 14. I am just simply stating a probable solution to perhaps, kids that are too young to play some of the games they are causing annoyances in.

When I was 6 my father paid my first NES so why kids can't be on Live if they don't pay for the console ? Explain your point, I really don't understand your logic here. You can't pay for nothing until you have the legal age to work.... All you can do is to collect your gift cash !!!

Most 14 year olds are normal enough to not be extensivly annoying on LIVE, but there are a couple of young kids out there that really shouldn't be on.
Well I am fourteen, and I am going to be turning 15 in August. I dont have a squeeky voice, some guy on live thought I was 18. I am not annoying like the little 10 year olds who constantly say "can you hear me?" I am not annoying, so dont hate on all the "little kids" though I wouldnt even call me that. I am mature, believe me, if you dont send me a friend request and lets game.

It's just gaming, if they all want to play the game then it's fine. Let them play, would you like to not be aloud to play the game because you were too young..No. Just because your older now doesn't give you the right to think that they shouldn't be allowed to play one live, that's just wrong. I find it odd that the vote counter is unaminous in the fact that the majority of gamers on this board feel as if younger children should not be on Xbox Live, yet almost every comment is supporting them.

It matters how young they are and how they act. I've played with some kids that never shut up. They treat nobody with respect, and are very annoying. Most also are n00bs at the games they play, or never stop talking about their gamerscore.
I'm 15 myself, but I think I act very mature on Xbox Live. I'm nothing like these little 8 year olds running in and out of the game lobbies.

I'm 16 and been playing pc games online for past 2 years, using teamspeak with a clan. Played on TS with guys younger than me, guys twice my age, 20 year olds, 19 year olds...was great. Thing was ofc it was a clan so we didn't let in the guys you're all reffering to, but point us age is stupid to go on because you can have a great time w/e the age its just all about maturity. I'll be starting live gaming next week so I guess I've got this all to look forward to, it seems weird though that you can't have at least 5 person private chat, doesn't really lend itself to say clan channels. I think if they introduced this feature it would help because you could just stay clear of public chat. Edit: Think I might give "pro" a go at first because my school mates play in it (wannabes lol, not loud mouth dicks but still :P ) if not I'll just go in Recreation, doesn't seem like the kinda zone for the immature.
