i am thinking about getting bioshock but i am not a fan of horror games (i get scared easily)but bioshock sounds like an amazing game.
should i get it or not?
kdogg12
It's certainly worth getting, but it's got very little replay value - so try to find somewhere you'll be paying less than full price, or just rent it.
hey guys im going to get a new game today, and i dont know if i want to get Army of Two or Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. Friends on my list have both games, so i could play multilayer with both. I loved Gears, if that helped, but never really played Vegas 1.pageiszepplin
Mmm i wouldn't reccommend buying AoT cause it doesnt last long, although it is pretty fun with a friend. Vegas 2 is good but i wouldn't get it if you dont like tactical shooters

thx i'll buy a used one at game stop or somthingHi. Thinking of picking up either Halo 3 (really want to see the end after playing 1 and 2) or Gears of War (this looks great though and seems interesting). Wonder what do you suggest?
Which one would be better for one that will mainly be playing offline (still trying to decide if Live will be worth it time wise)? Replay value? Etc?
Thanks.
NeoStar9
Halo 3 is easily the better offline only game - Gears of War lasts about 2 or 3 hours per playthrough, and doesn't have Skulls like Halo 3 to freshen things up.
However, if you're looking for an offline only game, I wouldn't recommend either Gears or Halo 3 really. They're both abysmally short.
I would say it's more of a rent. I was tired of it after about a week.Should i buy Army of Two or is it just a more rent it?
the reviews are making it seem like its only worth a rent

i was thinking about getting vegas 2 but alot of people said it is dissappointing is that the lack of new stuff or does the game just suck and someone new to the series shouldn't buy it.lilxharleyxbro
I had the first one and traded it in so i could get the second one and its true that there isnt that much new stuff but i still think it is an Awesome game

I Bought the second one after never playing the first and so far the campaign is amazing I'm a noob when it comes to multiplayer though
I have a 6 year old brother and he wants a game for the 360.
Any ideas on what game I should get him? I was thinkin Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
saiftk
That or Beautiful Katamari would be good.

Aye. Kids love comic book characters!
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is also pretty good for kids, as is Beautiful Katamari or Viva Pinata.
What about Rockstar Presents table tennis? Would that have a too steep learning curve?
saiftk
I'm not sure. I played it instore and found it very simple, although I'm sure I didn't have time to get to grips with the details of it.
Sega Superstars Tennis might be a more kiddy friendly version. Apparently it plays like a simplified Virtua Tennis. It also has Gilius from Golden Axe in it, which makes it awesome by association.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need a game recommendation now please.
I got my 360 2 months ago and I want a new game after playing CoD4 for some time. I mean, I'll still play CoD4 but just want some variety.
A lot of my friends have R6V2 and it looks/sounds good but I rented the first and sucked at it and hated it, possibly due to the fact that I came from CoD4 which is a fast paced run and gun shooter, coming to a slower paced team tactical based shooter.
Now, I also want Gears of War. But to me, no one plays it on my friends list, and I don't know how many people still play it. But it looks SUPER SUPER SUPER GOOD.
So my question is this, should I get Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 or Gears of War?
I need help deciding between battle for middle earth 2 and command and conquer 3. Which one has the better online multiplayer and overall, a better game?yentar480
command and conquers the better game
I've asked before kind of...but
What are some good RPG's for orig. or 360? Not KOTOR, Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata, or Enchanted Arms or Marvel, or LO.
EDIT: No Oblivion, Two Worlds either...or Jade Empire.
That's like...All of them. You left out Fable..And that's about itI've asked before kind of...but

That's so beat. I guess I'll just wait for Mass Effect for PC...the inventory system was so annoying, personally. Other than that, great game. I dominated Oblivion for PC and 360 as well. I only played a few minutes of Jade Empire....hmm...any more ideas?

Lost Odyssey is very good
^^^^^ lost oddessy
ok so i need help though, i have 40 dollars and cant decide what game ot get!
i narrowed the choices to:
dead rising
viva pinata
crackdown
ranbow six vegas (original)
ok thanks i need some opinions cuz im on a tighter budgetsly_fiz
Have you tried the demo's for those games? I'm not sure if there's a demo for R6V, but there definitely are some for the other three.
Essentially, they're all pretty good choices. I'd recommend Dead Rising the highest (it's my favourite), bit I doubt you'd be disappointed with any of them.[QUOTE="sly_fiz"]^^^^^ lost oddessy

There is a demo for Vegas...I recommend Dead Rising. It's a great game, and no one beats it only once. There's a ton of replay value. If you are an achievement whore, which you probably are...almost everyone is who has a 360, then this is a game for you. If you don't care about achievements, this game is ALSO for you.
Im a bit baffled whether to get Burnout Paradise or Condemned 2 tommorow.
Ive always liked the Burnout series, and I enjoyed Condemned 1 (refreshing change).
Honestly im not too sure what to pick.
If Burnout had any split screen I would easily prioritise it..... and Condemned 2s 'fight club' mode looks like good fun when friends come around.
I have been playing alot of racing games lately (still loads of PGR4), though I am pretty drawn to getting both games.
Ok so i'm soon getting an Xbox 360 and i have the choise of getting Assassins Creed or Burnout Paradise. I've looked at reviews, videos etc and can't decide between the two. Do they get repetitive and boring? Do they get really hard where it takes you 50 tries to complete a mission? what do you guys think?ash918273havent played burnout but assassin's creed is fun but it can get a bit repetitive, its never really all that hard though.
Grid and BP are very different types of racing games.. Grid is more along the lines of PGR in terms of acrade racer... Burnout is totally over the top.Burnout Paradise is a crappy game do not get...buy Grid when that comes out!!!

Army of Two, RSV 2, or Condemned 2. I have RSV 1 and im not sure how different the new one is. plz only respond if you have played all three.amscheip1AoT is a surprisingly good game... Its a blast playing it co-op with a friend.
Only problem is, its very short - currently playing through it for the second time on professional - when mates come round.
THe weapon modding / buying system does add quite a bit of incentive to keep comming back.
As for R6 - dont know - personally I hate the Vegas series (bring back the real R6 dammit), but from what I heard its much like an R6V1 'expansion'

what kind of multiplayer does AoT have, in terms of XBL?

2 v 2 multiplayer - team of two vs. a team of two. The two teams run around levels filled with hostile NPCs - completing objectives, killing targets ect. - competing against eachother. From what I have played its pretty good fun, though the controls compared to the singleplayer felt a bit off (could have been network lag).
i was also thinking about orange box...amscheip1
If at all possible, you should get that for PC. Valve aren't fond of consoles, and their support of the Orange Box reflects that.

Burnouts definately the better out of those 2
Are Zune, Marble Blast Ultra, Chessmaster Live, Rez HD, Bankshot Billiards 2, Brain Challenge, Lumines Live! and Tetris Splash worth getting for the XBLA?Namaste86
Should I get SEGA Superstar Tennis, or Condemned?
I'm interested in Superstar Tennis because it seems like a game my little sister would enjoy playing with me. It seems to have come out at a fairly low price aswell. It's got a few cameo characters I'd probably like to play as aswell (Gilius!!)
I'm interested in Condemned because people speak highly of it, and I enjoyed the demo. It's actually become quite tough to find recently, and, staggeringly, the price seems to have gone up putting little financial difference between Superstars Tennis and Condemned.
I depise decision making, so I'm passing the buck on to this forum.

True getting the OB for PC really is a no brainer - better support, MUCH better community and the amount of mods for HL2 is utterly amazing - some of which are much better than retail multiplayer games.Though if worse comes to worse and you doubt your PC can run even Half Life, or you hate gaming on a computer that much, get the OB on 360 - its easily the best gaming deal ever regardless.
