Weird... "Gamers" say motion controls suck, now they complain about it being not available? True, it could be optional, but still... I think the decision is okay, since you feel when the motions are based on simple button pressing and that just feels off.
@maiden_ty_one-:"A fair point, but don't make out that any criticism of a Japanese game is just down to its 'Japanese-ness'."
True, but in this case it's just a matter of fact. It may be weird for us to see stiff characters and almost no emotions, but while you can mention it, it's just wrong to make this the games fault. It's like complaining about Densha De Go being so harsh about the way how you stop your train and stuff, but that's the way it is in Japan. I'm getting a bit OT here.
@BeefoTheBold: >>Acquiring pretty dresses is not.<<
It is not the goal. The goal in the story is to defeat the evil witch. And even if it was to get a dress - it would help the princess. That's the most basic thing there is: a hero helping a princess. The plot may be weird, but in its core it's the basic thing.
@BeefoTheBold: It's a japanese series after all. Not a western one. It's like pointing the finger on Densha De Go! and saying anything against it being, well, VERY japanese - even its rules.
