hmmm majority platforms and arcades... I would want an example of good missed RPG or Strategy, if someone knows good missed on this type, please tell me.
@tsuingosuto1985: I'm glad to see a console user not using the term "PC fanboy", since we can't be fanboy of a system that everyone has! Each console player has at least an average PC in which can play at least old good games like Starcraft or Fallout, or new indies, so when we tell them "PC has more exclusives than all consoles together" it is not in the same way than in a console wars they can say "I have this exclusive that you have not", because they can play most of our "exclusives", we are not talking about something that "only us have", we simply talk about what system has more advantages than disadvantages.
@joshrmeyer: and the factor, how do you play games designed for 4:3 CRTs in your widescreen TV. Yes, you can emulate... on PC, and besides the irony, still not having mods to give a new perspective to your old games.
@joshrmeyer: Yes, English is not my first language, well, recently I've started again Diablo 2, with mods, the past month Morrowind, with even more mods, before Arcanum, Age of Empires (the new one), etc, a game that last a decade doesn't mean a game you play every day during 10 years, is a game which you can return with renewed expectations.
I've played one or two cinematic games, there should be all kind of games, even if they are closer to a movie than a game (a bad movie because will never be as spectacular as a real movie). But in forums console players apparently are the only of what they talk, why they are talking so much about a 20 hours game? well, they dont love the game itself, just the marketing to be a fanboy in forums.
But tell me, how may I miss something if I always had more games than I could play? Tell me, when I've been playing Baldur's Gate, If I had a N64 or a PS1, or both, what game could drag me from that game of the decade with mods? You see? Even having all consoles + PC, you need to choose, and always will choose what you like more.
@joshrmeyer: you still answering as "I never have been sik, so I can't be sick", man, hardware has lifetime, it is a fact of life, you didn't answer how do you plan to still playing your old games when your consoles were not more here.
Talking about N64, from that time, I'm re-playing Diablo 2, but... it was designed for the 3:4 factor so it looks "stretched" in new widescreen monitors. Horrible, but a simple HD mod fixes that and I still enjoying it like the first day. I'm curious about how do you still playing your N64 games in your extra-big new TV without a simple HD mod...
Still playing Divinity Original Sin 1 and they've launched the next just few years after, how do I will manage such massive fun! This should be illegal.
@joshrmeyer: how do you play in your N64? you know, hardware has lifetime, you may be luck but if you play enough on it, it will ends its life, and what will you do? buy a second hand N64? I still playing Baldur's Gate in my new PC, and with mods, understand?
Are more games on PC than in all consoles together, we have more to choose than you having all consoles together, updated and with mods. 10 years playing a game is not for lack of offer, means that game still enjoyable, we have real "Games of the Decade".
@creepywelps: of course you can replay an un-replayable game, also you can spend all the afternoon spitting from a bridge but that doesn't means spit from a bridge is the cleveest thing you can do in your free time.
