@Suaron_x: Top selling on PSN, not top selling on PS4 overall, and then only for the months listed. Also, thats not irony. Keep in mind, every xb1 sold pays a fee to Sony, since they invented Blu-Ray, they get a piece.

@moose-fitz: Youtube. I continue to think youtube is the most brilliant site in terms of invention: Imagine the convo: "lets invent a video site" "Great, what are we going to put on it?" "No idea, how about we let people post and share their own videos" "You mean we dont have to come up with our own content?" "Nope" "How about making money, how are we going to do that?" "We ll make it free so it catches on, then eventually we ll put some ads up in the videos...maybe at the start, maybe at intervals" "Like commercials?" "yeah, pretty much" "But the site stays free?" "Yep" "so again all we do is make a site, let people upload videos, share them, maybe comment?" "Sure" "Seems like a good plan" I mean the guys who invented it...the numbers were never really given but they each made like 250M plus in Google stock and money. The third inventor who only did a bit, and was still getting his PhD at Stanford when they sold to google, got like 50M. I know Notch made more from Minecraft, but that needed a lot more work, and while its a simple idea, the implementation is a lot more difficult. Youtube seems like the most bang for effort.

@king_quaps: Yeah, i enjoy it. Its nothing special in terms of game play, but its a pretty accessible shooter. If you are a big star wars fan then it scratches an itch. Its more of a testament to the star wars license than anything else. Its a stripped down experience from what? Its exactly what it was previewed and advertised as.

@pspearman: there is no law requiring disclosure of endorsements on the internet. It is standard practice on games sites because of what happened with GS on Kane and Lynch. Its why i dont read reviews on GS. Ive heard from a guy i know who used to work at EA tiburon and Red Flag studios 7 or 8 years ago, that the major sites get paid for a minimum score. So not so much that EA or Activision pays for a 9, but they pay to ensure a game score isnt tanked. Im not sure how much i believe that, some former games journalist would have broken his silence. Someone who worked at IGN, Gamesport, 1up, or any of the major sites that is no defunct would have come forward and said its rampant if it was happening. I take review scores with a grain of salt anyway. You can say COD is repetitive, but its normally pretty bug free, runs smoothly and has tight control. Its graphics are generally top notch...im not sure why it would get dinged. The fact that it is a rehash each year is kind of a seperate story.

@cavethug: i dont know if i would go that far. Just because someone is a muscian oran actor doesnt mean they arent informed. I dont know why the opinion of an actor matters anymore than that of a politician about certain things, or why it matters any less. Saying a celebrity knows only about fame is a bit narrow minded. Natalie Portman went to harvard and has a degree in psychology, she contributed to research studies and was named in reports and books. So id say she has more knowledge of psychology than the lay person certainly. Politicians talk about there being no global warming, despite the fact that there are almost no scientists of any kind in congress. I hear politicians talking about the economy and such all the time, but then you look at their backgrounds and almost none of them have any economics degrees. Saying a business man is properly equipped to talk about economics, particularly at the Macro level, is like saying strategies i employ in Command and Conquer make me equipped to talk about war strategies in real life. I dont think someone needs to be an expert on a subject for their opinion to be valid or informed, i just think you need to put it in perspective and weight the opinion accordingly. On video games...i dont know this guy from adam,so his endorsement means nothing to me, paid or otherwise. Even if i did know who he was, i still dont care. As a whole, if a majority of opinions about a game or movie are bad, it might discourage me from checking it out, but rarely does anyone opinion sway me, no matter who it is. As for battlefront, im curious as to how many of the haters are actually people who bought the game. I did, i knew what i was getting, and im enjoying it. Over the past 7 or 8 years, it seems hate for games largely comes from people who didnt buy it and say it sucks without playing it themselves.

@godslayer61: Im enjoying the game. The weapons thing is a bit of an issue, particularly since people only use maybe 3 of them. Classes would be nice too. The alien races things just makes no sense to me. There are more than 4: sullustian, rodian, twilek, isshi tib, zabrak, quarren, and duro. But that is hardly enough. Im surprised there isnt more cosmetic stuff so im guessing dlc is coming for that.

@overkillerjr: speak for yourself. Im enjoying it, and based on how easy it is to find games online in all modes, id say im hardly the only one enjoying it. Is it GOTY? Nope not even close. (Id vote for witcher 3, but to be fair i havent played mgsV or FO4). But still a lot of fun, particularly for star wars fans.
