@Zepthire95 @Decessus Big companies have a reputation to maintain. They can't afford to put out shoddy products. If they do then they lose the faith of their fan base and then means less sales in the future.
Nothing to worry about with this one. I'd be more concerned backing "no-named" developers.
@pug987 @dkdk999 I wouldn't be surprised to see EA try to invade the kickstarter model. Fingers crossed it doesn't become corrupted like everything else they touch.
@Suikogaiden Like here in Australia.. the Wii U is going to sell for $80 more than it will in the US even though our dollar is stronger. It's annoying, but the flip side is it makes you more conscious as to where you put your money.
Some games in some shops cost $120 here. Is that worth it? Not for everyone. But if your a fan of the game or really like what you see in the reviews, it may be worth it for you.
I doubt there is a single person alive that would find enough value in EVERY game that is released to justify the price. Everyone has there tastes. Like I said a few minutes ago in another reply, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Sounds like either this just isn't the game for you or you're maybe over games completely and need a break from them (I've been there, plenty of times!)
@Suikogaiden It's a good system when big guys like Obsidian use it. They have a lot riding on the project now that they must deliver on. Why? Because people are "funding" it based on faith. If they deliver a half-assed product, that faith will be lost in the consumer and so will their reputation.
