hows this: ebay only $100, has free shipping, and i can add a 3 year warranty as well. can i put this over my head as wellTheShadowLord07
They look pretty good, actually. They're not well-known state-side since they're not available here, but you can read the Head-Fi reviews here. I have a giant head and wear glasses, so one of the reviews threw me off personally, but it looks like they sound great at the right price, which is about $100. It's your call.

It's still too early, but that looks like someone's deviantART sketch more than anything else.

I've never held and attachment to TMNT either way, but I almost feel bad for the fans...almost.

That art was supposedly drawn by Eastman, one of the original co-creators. Happy gaming, Boz

klei replied to my Tweet: X-Box Live Arcade only. This was super-disappointing to me, since the game looks great.

I've never been fond of re-boots in general that totally change what the original was. That is, you take something that people enjoyed, then say, "Well, I'm going to make this my own" and start screwing with it like crazy. If your ideas are so much better, why not just make up your own thing (while not riding the coat-tails of the original)?

As for this next 'version' of TMNT.... well, I'll just wait and see.

Eastman, one of the co-creators, has been actively involved. The concept artwork is actually his. One of his comments regarding the "alien origin" of the turtle reboot was that the mutagen was actually based on alien technology. I'm cool with Bay taking a few liberties. If anything I'm glad he's spinning his own version; most of the live movies and subsequent cartoons and film were super-campy and family friendly. The original comics were pretty dark and gritty, with Leonardo almost getting killed early on. I'm hopeful Bay does for The Turtles what Christopher Nolan did for Batman. Boz

Well let's talk for a minute, then. What are you using these headphones for, exactly? Gaming, movies, music, traveling, exercise (I'm guessing no to the latter)? For example, I have two pair of headphones, one for gaming, and one for music on-the-go. I rarely listen to music unless I'm doing something else, so I almost always listen on home speakers rather than headphones. So I bought a gaming headphone rather than a high-end headphone.

I just want to make sure you're getting the best headphones for your dollar and for whatever purpose for which you intend to use them.

I see from your profile it looks like you're in Sri Lanka, so I understand availability may be constrained. Are you limited to Sennheiser? Do you have any retailers where you might try a few different headphones before you buy?

Happy gaming,

[QUOTE="Bozanimal"]

Note that Mark of the Ninja is NOT coming to PC, at least that's what Klei Entertainment told me when I spoke with them at their booth. It's coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Hugely disappointed, as the game was incredibly fun, like the original Ninja Gaiden, but with updated graphics, a stealth component, and a puzzle element.

Happy gaming,

Dracula68

You have a link saying this?

Well, it's definitely coming on XBox Live Arcade, but I don't have a link to anything saying no PC version, only what the developer told me at the show. I shot them a tweet to find out, and will let you know when I have something in "writing." Also, another game I was unable to locate on Gamespot:

Title(Self Explanatory) - Loadout
What systems(s) does the title apply to? PC
Developer - Edge of Reality
Publisher - Unknown
Genre(try to go into detail if you can) - FPS
Retail, Digital and/or Steam release? - Steam
Release date - Summer 2012
Number of players - Multiplayer
Release region(can usually tell by the link you will provide for proof) - US
Support Links(any and all links to show the game exists) http://www.loadout.com
Box Shots(please make sure there are no watermarks and that they are in jpg form) - See developer site

I'm having the same issue. I normally write everything in HTML so it's not an issue, but I've been having the WYSIWYG editor insert "span" and "styIe" into the code depending on if I use the link or align buttons in the editor. The WYSIWYG editor effectively breaks itself. :? Happy gaming, Boz

The art styIe actually reminds me some of the old Eastman & Laird artwork. This is going to look crazy next to the cartoon, but next to the old art from Mirage Studios, and many of their reboots and reinterpretations from other comic artists before it hit networks, it's not that far-fetched. Heck, laser turtles from the future aren't even that far-fetched.

I'm not saying we should throw in Mel Gibson, Tina Turner, and a kid with a razor boomerang, but I'd give it a shot. Even as a child of the 80's, and having met Eastman at a comic book convention back in the 90's (I'm a fan is all I'm saying), I'm willing to give Michael Bay a little lee-way. Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, the first Transformers, and The Island were all pretty fun popcorn movies. I'm hopeful his spin on TMNT will be, too.

Happy gaming,

Boz

would the sennheiser hd 438 be good headphone if its my first high end headphone? its pretty cheap, had a 1.4m cable, and the site as free internal shipping(yesasia if you heard of it). should i get it? oh and to Boz,can I use a 1.2m cable with the 438?

TheShadowLord07
If I might ask, why did you pick the HD 438? They're supposedly good headphones, but at about $180 retail, there are better options available for the money, in my opinion. The cable is detachable from the headphone, and retail includes two different lengths from what I can see, but I'd check with Sennheiser to make sure it will accommodate whatever male-to-male you want to use; it may not be a 3.5mm jack on the headphone itself. Happy gaming, Boz
