... It wounds me that no one has mentioned this gem yet; but four words:

ROCKET: ROBOT ON WHEELS. I REPEAT. ROCKET: ROBOT ON WHEELS.

One of THE best platformers ever made; with a physics engine UNHEARD of at the time. The game is one of my favorite 64 games, deserving of JUST as much attention as Super Mario 64 but not enough people tried it! I would kill to have a copy today... Building the roller coaster then RIDING it was simply awesome.

Shadowtails9000

I beat you to it, dude. ;)

This is probably my FAVORITE N64 game (yes, I like it even more than Goldeneye or Mario 64)

Body Harvest, was actually the first 3D sandbox game. It was made by Rockstar Games, and many people had no idea it existed because it was released in 1998, the same time as "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."

Good pull, man. Rockstar (although it was actually just DNA Design back then) also created a little game called Space StationSilicon Valley, which is also supposed to be quite good (I haven't played it.).

It seems like the only games I have in my collection are underrated gems. Games like Rocket! Robot on Wheels (awesome game!) and Mischief Makers (3D side-scrolling platformer from Treasure).

They were actually called DMA design, and were also behind fun games like Lemmings as well.

Oops . . . LOL. I'll blame that one on the "N" key being too close to the "N" key.

I have a couple favorites, I suppose.

One would be the intro to the Resident Evil Remake on the GameCube. Awesome.

The second might not even be classified as a cutscene, but the fight between Leon and Krauser in Resident Evil 4 (with all the quick-time commands) is excellent.

The third is the scene in Gears of War 2 where Dom finds his wife. There's not really a whole lot going on emotionally and depth-wise in the series as a whole, but that one moment was actually very effective (and affective), IMO.

Virtual Villagers? Never heard of it. Sounds like a Populous/Day of Discovery-type game.

It's in the dining room, either on the dining table or on the desk next to the typewriter. Pretty sure it's on the table, though.

*ignores whoever still thinks rare was a third party* BrunoBRS

What exactly makes you think otherwise? Rare is a third-party company. The period during which they can actually be considered "2nd party" is very brief.
