No, really, I'm a tester
by Donkeljohn on Comments
So after weeks of attempting to log into the SOCOM:FTB servers, I found a place which let me play. Last night, while my wife was in her maternity classes listening to others who successfully delivered I took advantage of the Wi-Fi they had running.
In all honesty, I'm still not impressed. Granted, I've never been a fan of tactical shooters. Since the original Wolfenstein, I have been an "arcade" FPS junkie. So, thus we see SOCOM, Ghost Recon, and their ilk are not impressive.
:-P
I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the test team, but in the end I will not make a purchase.

So no matter how many times I tried, the blog just wouldn't let me post.
But since we are reading this, it must be allowing me again.

No class but first class

Between crazy work hours and studying (or trying to) I am not getting enough sleep. This was compounded by a 5am work morning and additional late nights.
Now it seems my wife has gotten sick from one of her coworkers, and then it was kindly passed on to me. Tomorrow I will be out of action. . . if not before.

That means I may have time to study. Yay!
Secret play time
by Donkeljohn on Comments
I came home yesterday and got a little closer to the end of Dungeon Seiges: Legend of Aranna. I think I may have a chance to finish it.
Of course play time is not helping me get my MBA work done, or study for my Organizational Behavior test.
:-(
I could sleep

I could also game. But, I am pretty sure when I go home after my workday that started at 5 am, I will study.
Although sleep feels really inviting. . .
