School.
Actually when thhe Playstation came out, I was on my mission. My father, however, bought one. Something I had not seen coming. That definitely got me back into games. That and Jedi Knight. . .

After going so long without gaming, it is no wonder that the first opportunity I had to play, I took it!
I connected the computer yesterday in an effort to organize the new front bedroom of our apartment. Unfortunately, the relative closeness to the end of Aranna's Legend created an unimaginable draw. A black hole of sheer power which slurped my soul into it's ebony entrails.
Yeah, that was weird. I don't know where that came from.
Now nobody will be in the theaters. . .
Of course that would be an excellent game to get for my videophile brothers in law.
So much for a holiday. I worked and moved.
It is nice to be in a new ghetto apartment. Who knows what wonders await. . .
:-P
Socom for the PSP is available for Beta. I can't believe Sony actually approached me to beta their Fire Team Bravo game.
Interesting.
I guess they heard how not interested in SOCOM I am and how much I wish I had another reason to play my PSP, other than the luxurious Lumines.
. . .requires more time, but I currently have more work.
The priorities. . . this is what being an adult is all about I suppose.
Nope, still happily married, just moving.
That means the Xbox, the playstations and everything else gets to see the inside of boxes again. We get to move a couple of blocks away, but we should be able to get settled in soon for some pre-gradschool gaming. . .maybe.
I think it is odd Penny Arcade would use the term "filthy competitors" when referring to Gamespot. Whether in jest or in principle anybody associated with the Penny Arcade brand may want to question their use of the term "filthy."

PA's content is usually of the more base variety of comics; if we consider not only the scathing language with which they describe people, games, and situations, but also the content of their comics. Frequently their dialogue contains four-letter words most mothers would reward with a bar of soap.
Conversely, Gamespot has been known to practice a sort of smug intellectualism, or pseudo intellectualism depending on the editor. Their comments have been couched near the upper limits of reason and objectivity within editorials. Other than recent sightings of "Sunday School language" opinions painted with colorful language akin to a PR text.
When juxtaposed, the two seem different, though the games played are probably identical.
SO I can surf the Internet on my PSP. . .
I've been waiting for this, and it has been a big deal. As a matter of fact I have actively campaigned for this very opportunity. Now I am left to an oddly shaped screen and nowhere to go. I suppose if I were out on the town and I was near Starbucks I could surf the net for movie times. . . . if that scenario were a possibility. But, that is not the case, nor do I think that will be the case.
And if I am in a place where I have access to the Internet, I'd just as soon use my laptop. But I must say there was something novel about logging in to wap.gamespot.com for the first time. . . on my PSP. I had some added value for that hefty expense. However, I had added value when I was campaigning for 2.0's release. Which in the end seemed to be of greater worth.
