This looks interesting. I hadn't heard of this game before. I'm glad to hear they are bringing it to NA.

I don't want to agree with the TC on this but I almost feel that sooner or later I might have to. I don't mind buying three consoles, I can afford it. I love Nintendo's games. But I only was able to beat one game on Wii and I got tired of it because of the motion based gaming. I don't want to have to move my arm or my whole body to play a game. Games are my down time, my time to relax and kick back. I haven't been able to do that with a Nintendo console since the Gamecube(Although I still like Nintendo handhelds). Also I kind of wish they would give their characters voices. I understood why they did before 2000. But now it's one of those things they need to do in my opinion. Another thing I don't like to do all the time is read(though I will, I'd just rather not). Wii U is still motion based, it has the sensor bar. But I'm crossing my fingers still, hoping that I will be able to relax and play this without feeling like I worked out. I'm a marathon gamer, so when I want to play a game, I can sit for hours if it's good enough to hold my attenion. But I can't if my arms are hurting and have to keep the controller lifted a certain way.

Looks like TC is really looking forward to Kinect Sports season 2. :lol:

But Kinect Sports Season 2 wasn't made by Rare if I remember correctly. Only Season 1 was.

I see your point. I'm thinking of going ahead and buying the 3DS next month for Super Mario 3D Land, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the new Resident Evil game. I wouldn't use it for gaming on the go so it would just be something to play while I'm on the couch and don't feel like playing something on my other consoles. The only reason I think the speculation might turn out to be true somewhere down the lines is because Nintendo does Redesigns a lot for the handhelds and I figured this might be part of it. I think there were at least 2 redesigned DS's. One with the added camera DSi and then the DSi XL.

I don't think it needed one, but I still think it's a nice way to get the people working at 343 Industries into the groove of making XBOX 360 games and Halo games in general. In my personal opinion, Gearbox Software wouldn't be as good as it is today if they hadn't a few games first before they started working on their own franchises. So hopefully working on Halo Anniversary, as well as some of the Halo Reach map packs will be good "practice" work for 343 Industries so Halo 4 will be better than it might be if they had started work on it as soon as they were up and running. At least that's what I'm hoping. Plus I'm sure there are a ton of people who didn't get to play the first because of how young they were when it came out and would like to play it on their XBOX to see how it all started. So I think all around it is a win-win for 343 Industries and fans of Halo games.

I've wanted to buy a handheld console for as far back as I can remember. What has been holding me back from buying one is the fact that they don't have two analog sticks/slide pads. It may not seem like a big deal for some of you, but for me it's been a deciding factor. Finally a handheld is coming out with two analog sticks next year in the states in the PS Vita and Nintendo seems to be trying to do something along those lines with adding a peripherial for the 3DS that adds a second slide pad as well as the rumours about them redesigning the 3DS to have a two slide pads built in. So why didn't Nintendo include it to begin with? Before the price was also too high for me because the only game I wanted at the time was Ocarina of Time. But now the only thing preventing me from getting one is the second slide pad. Also should I wait for the redesign or buy a 3DS now and buy the peripheral once games start using the second slide pad in the future? And why do you think Nintendo didn't add the second slide pad in the first place?

[QUOTE="ElectronicMagic"]

[QUOTE="kuraimen"] GOW Collection has a 91 on Metacritic. Just saying ;)sts106mat

And they are of two different genres and God Of War collection has two games, not one.

and the original god of war game only came out in 2005..

And that changes nothing... You get more for your money when you get more games. It also doesn't change that they are different genres.

You expected it to get AAA scores? 7's and 8's sound about right. It's a graphical update to a 2001 game. It would be like GTA 3 coming out now with GTA 4 graphics, but with the same code and animations.

I think it's still worth a purchase though. Especially if you never played CE.
