Why? How does it affect you in a positive way? Is it because it reaffirms that you didn't waste your money? Should you really buy a product if you have to get excited about another company's faults just to feel good about your purchase? I don't get it. I can understand getting excited about something positive for whatever product you own, but even then, you shouldn't need to wait for confirmation of money well spent. If you are not 100% sure you love a product, especially one as expensive as a PS3 or 360. Manly-manly-man

The reason why everyone said the Xbox 360 is because he wants to have a solid amount of FPS games. I honestly think Haze isn't all that(both the 360 and PS3 version). So I'd definitely go with Xbox 360. Actually, nah. I'd probably spend that same $500 on upgrading my PC to play Crysis. I'm just waiting for both Sony and Microsoft to bring their price down on their consoles at a affordable price that's made the Wii sell so well(and I will wait that long).

You're not alone in that sentiment. Most people wait till the consoles are at the $150 level before they buy one. The fact that Sony is able to get people to shell out $600 is an amazing testament to the fanatic following they have. MS getting people to pay $400 for a 360 is also amazing. I'm one of thosepeoplethat can't help myself. I paidfor mineas soon as I could find one in stock. :D

If you like shooters, the 360 is the ONLY choice. I could make an argument based on the games, but the biggest thing for me, is rumble. The PS3 doesn't have it and the 360 does. There's nothing weaker than a shooter with no rumble. Feeling the kick of the gun as you blast away is an absolute must.

By the time the multi-disk thing really starts to be a pain, they will be releasing a new Xbox. If Oblivion can fit on one disk (it does), then we just don't have much to worry about.

We don't really even know what's coming out this holiday season, let alone next calendar year. E3 should change that though.

I was just casually looking through the upcoming games release dates in Gamespot and it seems most of the games coming out are for the 360.  Is it just that GS hasn't been updating the list, or is the situation really that grim for PS3 and Wii fans? 

People that complain about PDZ's AAA score almost guaranteed haven't played it.  Why such hate for a game you never played?

Well it looks like you were dead on TC. The lemmings really don't have anything exciting to look foward to. Every xbox fan who bought a 360 knew they were eventually going to get Halo 3, so how come that's the only answer they have to this thread.

We PS fans have a bunch of NEW exclusive IP's to look foward to as well as known ones we already lover (MGS4/FFXIII/GT5..etc). I think the people (xbox fanboys) who previously answered your thread did nothing but further prove your point.

Nah, many of us are more excited about Mass Effect than any of those 3.  And to the TC: the recent lack of new good news doesn't negate all the previous good news for the 360.  There's plenty to keep us happy through the end of next year at least.   

I love my DS.  Don't forget to pick up Advanced Wars DS. if you can find a copy.
