Most people don't think that deeply.  System hate is just a knee jerk reaction.  One of those "Us vs. Them" sort of things like religious debaters and sports fans.

The idea is that eventually Sony will have the installed base.  Hence Oblivion, etc. coming over to the PS3.  I think this gen is going to be a tight race, though  I personally can't recommend a PS3 until the price comes way down and it has rumble.  I still can't believe gamers are ok buying a console without rumble.  To each his own I guess.

Yea, you lemmings are right!! HOW DARE SONY OFFER US A SUPERIOR ONLINE SERVICE FOR FREE ALONG WITH THE BEST EXCLUSIVE GAMES!!! And besides has it ever occured to you that the reason they did NOT show any new games at GDC is because Sony is working harder on areas of weakness such as the online service. I mean it makes perfect sense, sony already has the best exclusive titles nabbed in the bag, what they need to work on is improving the online service which they are going to do with "Home"
