@Thanatos2k @cheetah_TM No you can't, not on digital downloads (which is practically everything). They only offer a 1 time customer courtesy refund in special cases.

@skattestop Agreed. Just because a company was terrible once doesn't mean it will always be that way. Granted, I personally think Origin needs an entire UI overhaul, but I digress.

Also, I don't see "increased fan noise" being a good prompt for warning people that the console is overheating. If mine suddenly sounded like a jet engine, I'd probably be opening it up trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

I could have sworn the current generation of consoles already had part of this, what with the fans speeding up under heavy use. Unless this is referring to something 'more advanced' like window prompts telling us to shut down before it melts like an overhead projector.
