@DrKill09 You are the worst example of someone speaking of a game they know little of. And for the record, getting "raped" (which she wasn't) is certainly not a "weakness". That goes for any woman. The Lara in this game is tough as nails, even if she gets wounded along the way.
I still don't understand how on Earth a company can expect to project its sales expectations so far above record-breaking highs for a franchise and hope to be profitable. Isn't it simple economics to look at the sales for similar products and project them accordingly? I'm glad the game was given such a big budget, the final product was breathtaking, but still... Seriously Square?
I would love to see this generation repeat the Ps2 line-up. I'm an avid lover of a broad array of companies and gaming systems, but I don't think it is very debatable how magnificent and expansive the Ps2 was for gaming. Xbox had about 1,000 games when it was all said and done while Ps2 had an incredibly diverse line-up of about 1,850. Almost double the catalog. I'm not sure that sort of gamer friendly era will ever be re-created, but this sounds like it may be close to back on track at least.
@gamemaven Sony ditched the complicated hardware in the Ps3 for more general mid-range PC specs in the Ps4. In fact, they both have. I submit that this will be less of a console war than a publisher war this generation.
