@Killer6b9 @guitardeth3 Historically, Nintendo has usually made a profit on all of their systems at launch. I'm sure there had to be more than a few that didn't (Virtual Boy), but that's normally what they shoot for. I'm sure I could Google the other systems sold at a loss, but you get the idea.
@alenth For what was available on Day 1, it's 100x's better than what was on the 3DS. Demos are supposedly coming soon, and that's always a plus. Most games have a video, and for some reason, many look a bit better on the pad.
@superkadeemx It's been different, but not totally mind blowing. DL'ing Trine 2 and the new Nanostray game in a few minutes; Didn't feel like spending money on launch games when Black Friday was coming up. Nintendo Land is decent, but if you never bought a Wii Motion + controller, you can't experience everything. I may be a Nintendo fan(boy), but I'm sure they knew it would force people to buy one($$$).
I can say that the distance from console to gamepad is ok,I can fool around with the system from my bedroom in an apartment, and that's a good thing. Pad isn't totally HD, but it's like looking at a very good tablet screen. If you have the chance, pick one up, but only if you're used to buying new systems from Nintendo.
