Shouldn't we be more focused on the masked gunmen that sneak or burst into homes and make people watch these videos in the first place? They never caught the guys that put that first drink and cigarette into my hands, so I hope they get these bastards that prey on weak individuals that may possibly have impulse control issues, and forced these helpless people to click on a link or manually type in "No Man's Sky leaked".... What has our world come to?
My question is this; didn't they say the placed a lot of locations based on a previous game with a similar play style? Either game wasn't as popular, or those affected now know what the hell is going on. I was playing on the bus (not really, you can't catch too many pokemon that way since it never stops when you need it to) and I saw that a taxidermy place was a pokestop. Not the restaurant 50 feet away on the corner, but a taxidermy place. There's also a gym in a major store in a shopping center less than a mile away. Both of those had me wondering if place could request to be a pokestop.
"To explain what I mean, let's look at an analogy: consider a situation in which you were given the keys to an empty house and told to do whatever you wanted to it, without consequence. There might or might not be people living there."
If there are people living there, it isn't an empty house.
@camverge: Old games keep money in my bank account. Whenever I get so "bored" I think about buying something, I pull out old systems and games I've never finished. I've even pulled out a Sega Saturn to play a full season of World Series Baseball. I don't even like baseball that much, but I got it with the system and had never finished a season.
The fact that that probably won't even be possible with some of my Wii/360 games actually makes me a bit sad.
@chiefwiggum16: Too late. We've (consumers of this product in general) already bought too many toys, and made a few more of them collectors items. People that aren't really into gaming won't pay attention and keep buying the sets/characters, and people that did love the game will now buy all they need to complete some set. Hell, I'm even willing to bet that Disney finds a way to keep pushing them in their parks until inventory runs out.
I can see how it can ruin the game for some, but I can't agree too much with the lost sales pitches I keep seeing in the comments. The people that are going to sit down and just watch the videos were going to do that 2 weeks from now as well. The only difference now is that the douchey ones can now act like experts on the game 2 weeks earlier.
Not a Battlefield player, but the ability to pretty much combine the maps of two games (if I'm reading this right) and make your own custom session sounds awesome. I hope this works out and other companies take notice.
@xolivierx: After reading your comment, I picked up a wallet that's about 3x4.5 inches, and placed it on top of my DC controller. Give it about another inch all the way around (the controller itself), and you could have a comfortable controller with 4 shoulder buttons, two sticks, a d-pad, 4 face buttons and a screen.
